Section 2
Reflect on the steps you have taken, and difficulties encountered in producing the game
There are several steps are taken by me to produce then game in efficient manner.
University provide us an assignment to develop game that reduce the level of plagiarism and
academic misconduct in academic work. We have designed the game named as “Gaming
against Plagiarism”. The game is simple as well as easy to play. We have developed the game
with the objective of avoiding plagiarism and academic misconducts in academic work of
students. We have included various features in game such as “Red Alert” that help to detect the
plagiarism in content. Game has feature to highlight the words with red colour that are copied
from others work (Pethrick, 2020). We also included the another tool in game that detect
grammatical errors in content. It helps students to improve writing skills that provides benefits to
them in future. I have developed various instructions for playing game in efficient manner are
defined below:
“Gaming against Plagiarism” game is played between the students and teachers to reduce
the level of plagiarism in content that imposes penalties or termination from university.
To start the game, students are required to download the game in their computers and
mobile phones. After the process of downloading, game is opened with some specific
tools and features. There are some options are shown to students.
In next step, team of 3 to 4 students are formed then teachers provided small activities of
content writing to participants. The content is written in approx 100 to 500 words in word
fine that must be free from the activity of plagiarism.
In last step, we have declared winner team according to the reports. Participant team in
which content minimum plagiarism is detected is announced as the winner team and they
are appreciated by the teachers.
There are various difficulties and problems are faced by us during producing game that impacts
overall performance and effectiveness of overall game and its results. Lake of coordination in
team members is the greatest issue faced by us. I analyse that insufficient technical skills and
tool limits the efficiency of game and create problems. We have faced difficulty is prepare the
list of questions that are asked to participant during game (Gao, AlBuainain and Hasan, 2021).
We have not conducted outside testing for game that limits our understanding regarding game
efficiency and effectiveness. We have taken some decisions improperly and there is no defined

time period if decided for playing game that created various difficulties and challenge to develop
game on time with efficiency.
