INTRODUCTION
Ludo is the game that has been design to
teach student about the manner in which
plagiarism and academic misconduct can be
avoided by them while studying in the
university. This is poster containing detailed
related to instructions of playing games,
skills learned during the game and why
academic integrity is important.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR PLAYING GAMES
The rules of playing the ludo game in order to learn method to avoid plagiarism
and academic misconduct in future circumstances can be illustrated in detailed
as follows:
1. There are only four or less than four players that can be encouraged to play
at particular point of time.
2. The student have to throw the dice and which every the number comes have
certain information attached to it that has to be read by it in loud so that
other participant can listen to the same. The information present at each of
the number of dice is pertaining to academic misconduct and the manner in
which plagiarism can be avoided to maximum extend (Burger, 2021).
3. If any student is found to do cheating while playing the game will be
suspended or not authorised to play the game.
4. The person how will win the game will explain about whole detailed related
to the manner in which plagiarism and academic misconduct can be avoid to
all the student so that they can learn.
5. The student can strike other if they come to place where already some other
student has placed its chance, except the safe zones that are marked with
colours on board.
EXPLANATION OF WHY ACADEMIC INTEGRITY AT UNIVERSITY SO IMPORTANT
Academic integrity is fundamental of learning, teaching and researching at University that allow
student to easily share their respective ideas with staff as well as student. It contributes in building trust
and good relationship between the individual as they are able to effectively share information with each
other. There are five pillars of academic integrity such as honesty, trust, fairness, respect and
responsibilities that has to be followed by the student while learning at university to grow and enhance
its existing skills and capabilities. Through abiding to all the pillars of academic integrity the student
can achieve growth in personal as well as professional career. Such as by honestly sharing all the
information to the other student related to any thing so that all of them can easily learn. Furthermore, it
lead in developing respect and sense of responsibilities among the student in university I.,e they respect
each and every individual that is present in their class. At the same time ready to performed their
respective responsibilities in effective manner.
SUMMARY OF REFLECTION ON SKILL USED
DURING THE GAME
While designing of Ludo game to teach student about the
academic plagiarism and the way academic misconduct can be
avoided, there are numerous skills that I have learned such as
communication, decision making, innovative and creative and
interpersonal skills. Such as:
Communication skills: In the game, communication skills
has been developed as I have to communicate with other
individual in order to make the game, provide then instructions
related to the way it is played.
Decision making: Second, skills that is developed during the
game design is decision making skills in which I have take
decision related to task, the way game will be played and
responsibilities of each key individual in the game designing.
Innovative and creative skills: The last skills that is
innovative and creative that is developed during game design
because I have make use of innovative and creative idea to
design the game so that student can learn and have fun (Pratt,
2021).
CONCLUSION
From the above presentation it can be
concluded that game design is process
of designing the game in order to teach
the student related to manner in which
plagiarism and academic misconduct
can be avoided. At last it can be
summarized that the game has helped
in developing several skills,
communication, decision making and
innovative and creative skills.
