INTRODUCTION
Professional skill is defined as a specialised expertise or knowledge which is needed to fulfil
action, task and processes in order to accomplish overall goal and objective. In a business
environment academic integrity plays important role which allow a person to be honest, fair,
truthful and have responsibility of own failure and success (Alharahsheh and Pius, 2021). This
report include discussion on concept of academic progress along with the reason academic
integrity is relevant to professionalism in a business environment.

business environment?”
Academic plagiarism occurs when a writer take use of more than four words from a
printed source without taking any use of quotation mark a reference to the original source. In
simple terms academic plagiarism is a state when an individual present someone else ideas or
work as their own without taking their consent and acknowledging them. There are different
types of plagiarism such as direct plagiarism, self-plagiarism and accidental plagiarism
(Alkharabsheh, 2021). It is essential for an individual to plagiarism in which they can effectively
employee and learn principles of good academic practice or acknowledge other work with the
help of precise reference and quotations.
Academic integrity is mainly defined as ethical policy on moral code of academia. It is
expectation that students, teacher researcher and all the member of academic community act with
respect, honesty, trust, responsibility and fairness. Breaching of academic writing is define as
academic dishonesty or misconduct. Academic integrity plays important role as it allow
individual to build new ideas, creative works and knowledge while respecting and
acknowledging others work. Academic writing is significant is it allow an individual to you have
moral ethics with high personal integrity (López, 2021). Academic integrity is relevant to

professionalism in a business environment as it allows in developing trust between person and
the people around in the business field. Academic integrity facilitates individual to be honest and
conduct responsibilities efficiently. With the help of academic integrity person can learn skills in
an appropriate manner through which they can conduct their roles and responsibility in a
particular profession while developing ethical prospective, which help in undertaking efficient
decision making. In addition to this has been evaluated that academic integrity mainly combined
five forms of fundamental values which is when is honesty, trust, respect and responsibility.
Academic integrity also include behaviour which is consistent with the professional as well as
ethical expectation of one field. It is playing important role as with the help of having ethical
standards individual can achieve professional goals and also help them to succeed in the business
environment (Ayaya and Pretorius, 2021). Academic integrity is relevant to professionalism in a
business environment and create trust between peers. It facilitates fairness, trust, honesty,
respect, responsibility and courage in a business environment. It is important for all the
organisation whether it is small or large to have academic integrity as it will directly and directly
impact upon the workplace academic integrity facilitates students to understand the importance
of ethics which is highly applicable in professionalism in a business environment, as with the
help of understanding the importance of academic integrity students can make themselves can be
able to handle responsibilities in an effective manner which helps in promoting positive company
culture. In addition to this it has been identified that, academic integrity is relevant to the
professionalism in a business environment at helps in developing trust between individual around
the business field. Trust plays most important role in successful progression of a business (Bruni-
Bossio and Delbaere, 2021). In this with the help of academic integrity and work ethics like
loyalty, judgement, dependability and honesty a person can gain trust and respect from managers
as well as peers on simultaneous basis in a business environment. With the help of academic
integrity one can avoid plagiarism, cheating fabrication and falsification which is helpful in
promoting respect honesty, trust, responsibility, fairness and courage. With the help of these
values one can conduct their responsibilities with trustfulness and can take responsibility of own
failure and success. It is one of the most important aspect and professionalism as with the help of
academic integrity person can develop themselves that applies behavioural code judgement and
skills which is important in becoming successful in today's modern business world (Deale and
Lee, 2021). With the help of academic integrity students can take advantage of more

opportunities and promotion in professional with the help of which one can serve their roles and
responsibility with the help of creating trust. In this with the help of staying committed and
abiding by the principal of academic writing and professionalism in today's business
environment one can ensure integrity and honesty one can work in more efficient manner
(McManus and Rook, 2021).
Academic integrity in professionalism facilitates individual to work with others and respect
team members for their abilities, skills and knowledge regardless of their opinions background
and belief. Along with this with the help of understanding the academic integrity importance and
professionalism individual can efficiently engage with team and can contribute ideas and
solution for the benefit of project and team rather than for own benefit (Guffey and Loewy,
2021). Academic integrity also allows individual to communicate in a professional, clear and
concise manner and do quality work with considering and supporting other ideas. From the
above-mentioned analysis it has been identified that academic integrity is efficiently related to
professionalism in a business environment which allow individual to be honest and ethical with
roles and responsibility (Hrdličková, 2021). This will help them to ensure more growth and
development opportunities create a positive environment.
CONCLUSION
According to the above-mentioned report it has been concluded that it is important and
ethical to avoid academic plagiarism as it affects individual ability to understand the importance
of academic integrity which is important and relevant to professionalism in a business
environment. Academic integrity is an important aspect which allow a person to respect other
ideas, viewpoint and opinion with the help of trust, honesty and truthfulness. This report
identifies that academic integrity plays important role in a professional business environment
through which person can make efforts to hard work and can take responsibility of their own
failures and success.
