INTRODUCTION
Professional skills are those characteristics that an individual develop within them so that
it will help them in cooperative world. Theses skills are much required so that they can grow in
their career. Success of employee depends upon the knowledge they have about their job. They
ability help them in positive way as they affect their overall workplace performance. These skills
are required in business as well as in finance. If a person acquire these professional capabilities
than they can helps them in all type of job, industry (Anjum, 2020). Even with these ability they
can also adopt the dynamic environment. These skills can also be transfer with the change in job
or job role. There are so many professional skills that can be inherit by an individual that will
help them in mange the business and finance. These are Leadership skill, emotional intelligence,
flexibility, communication skill, self motivation, problem solving, integrity and many more (Tan
and Laswad, 2018).

What is Academic Plagiarism and why is academic integrity relevant to professionalism in a
Business environment
Academic plagiarism is an illegal activity in the context of education. It is define as using
another person work or project without giving any credit to that person. In academic it means
copying someone others file and giving it the name of their own. In this the scholar use the ideas,
thought, words, file from any secondary source and not citing it properly. In the education
institution this is an unethical code of conduct, dishonesty toward their work and for that they are
giving punishment on it (Morris, 2018). In one of the survey it is found that merely twenty
percent scholar do their work in ethical way and the rest uses the plagiarism. Plagiarism can
happen in school assignment as well as in professional level to. In professional level it occur in
the arts, content industry. With the growing competition the uses of someone else work is also
gaining importance and becoming a serious issue (Foltýnek, Meuschke and Gipp, 2019).
Academic plagiarism are divided into four parts:
Global plagiarism: When the whole document is copy paste than it is known as global
plagiarism. The entire text, tables, pictures and even the graphs are similar with the
original source.

Patchwork plagiarism: It is also known as Mosaic plagiarism. In this idiom, ideas,
transition, passages are being copied from the various sources and then some
modification is made and turn into new text (Horbach and Halffman, 2019).
Incremental plagiarism: This happen when the person put a small amount of plagiarized
content in their original work. It is done so that words can be exceed.
Self plagiarism: This type of plagiarism is most common. Many of the time the scholar
modify and recycle their own past work which is been either submitted or published
(Perkins, Gezgin and Roe, 2020).
Sometime piracy can be occur accidentally because of the image, videos that are selected by the
internet.
Academic integrity is an ethical way of doing work and it is very important to posses this
skill when the individual is in the stage of professionalism. It is a self principle which is used by
a person to do the work in right manner even the other employees are not available. By acquiring
this skill a person avoids all the unethical way or dishonest practices. This concept also help the
person when they are working in an organisation. This is a practical way of shoeing hoe honest
and legal an individual is toward the way they work (Lin, 2020).
There are four elements that are included in academic integrity these are: justice,
Coherence, ethical principles and appropriate motivation. Academic integrity is relevant in
professional business environment as it will help the employee to grow more within the career as
it will built a good image of the person in others mind. If they have these skills then with the help
of their Knowledge they can come up with new idea which are not been innovative by anyone
which help the organisation to grow. These employee will utilise their time in more productive
and efficient manner. They will realize their responsibility toward the business environment and
will work according to the norms and values that are being made foe working in ethical way
(Sotiriadou and et. Al, 2020).
Academic integrity also plays a vital role as the person with such skills can in qualitative
manner they will look at quality first and than at quantity that is needed to be produced. With the
help of theses capabilities the person will always cites those individual who actually contributed
which help them in building a good communication within the business environment. This
citation will also help them in building an effective team as they will come up with good
leadership qualities that appreciate everyone towards the work done by them. Corruption in the

business has increased a lot and if the society want to decrease it they should have some
academic skills (Ellis and et. Al, 2020).
School and colleges play a very vital role in developing the skills of academic in integrity
as these ability are been teach and learn at the initial stage. The person should always trust their
own abilities so that they can acquire theses skills which help them in doing business. Their
behaviour and code of conduct toward their job will help in increasing their position in the
organisation. Company also have their code of conduct and ethics which they do not want to
breach and employees should also not breach these (Keener and et. Al, 2019).
CONCLUSION
from the above report it is been concluded that professional skills are not acquires by birth but
these develop within the time. Theses skills are very important if they want to succeed in the
competitor environment. Academic plagiarism pays critical role in the life of an student. If an
person cannot use other source and copy paste the material that were there than they can develop
themselves in more competitive way and even their professional career will also be enhanced. In
this report a detailed study is been also made about academic integrity with the business
environment. These will help the person in their professional career.
