INTRODUCTION
The skills that describes ability or habit of an individual and personality traits which
favourably influences the performance of a personnel within the workplace are termed as
professional skills. In context to business environment, skills such as problem-solving, leadership
and teamwork plays a significant role in career growth. It also facilitates in building the
relationships between superiors and subordinates at the workplace along with improvement in
performance of job (Milosevic, 2018). In current report, the concept of Academic plagiarism will
be explained with the relevancy of academic integrity to professionalism within business
environment.

The process of expressing the thoughts, ideas or work of someone else with or without
their consent in own opinions or words is defined as plagiarism. A plagiarism is avoid by
exercising and employing the values of better academic practice from beginning of the career.
The process of plagiarism is concerned with the process in which other people's credit is taken by
someone else by using the work, thoughts and ideas from original source. The concept of
Academic plagiarism is arise when a typer or writer frequently uses more than four words from a
source that is published and not using any symbol quotation or any fine citation of primary
source. Process of doing paraphrasing in a frequent way by not taking it seriously with another
person's point of view is also considered as a form of academic plagiarism. The one who do
Academic plagiarism acts in a similar way and create thoughts for making an exact copy of
entire book. This is considered as an unethical process as well as a type of theft as during the
process other person's data or information is stolen by others with or without their consent (Raef
Lawson and CSCA, 2018). At the starting level of academic learning, a learner or student
expected to make a copy of other's content or project but it arises complexities in future period.
In later period, at the time when they become professional, they will face the complexities
associated with the concepts and their implications. While making exact copy of content of
others, they are unable to clear their own concepts which, in future, become a major drawback of
them.
