 Academic skills refers to the strategies, abilities and habits which
help learners to succeed into the context of academic setting.
 These are the skills which have been developed for the purpose
of mastery of technical and literacy subjects.
 Professional skills are the abilities and career competencies
which has been used in the workplace which are beneficial for
nearly any.

Challenges of studying business
management
Selecting to business study has its advantage to individual after competing the
study such as earn high income and easily grab job market. However, the
candidates or students have deal with some difficulty in business school that will
mention below.
 Connecting with fresh people: The candidates had more active in
social group with neighbours, family and friends however, In business
management study, candidates must meet with new individual so that they
interact with each other and learn different segments of businesses
management.

 Balancing the life: The candidates must dedicate to their learning and development of business skill. But
student face challenges to maintain the life that involves hobbies, social friends and other obligation they
may have. The candidates have to participate in extracurricular activities such as sports so that

balance in acquiring good grades in academic.
 Expenses: The management study require a lots of expenses such as hostel fees, academic fee,
food expenses, entrainment expenses and other expenses that make challenging for students to deal with
these expenditure. Although students get educational loans, some candidates get scholarship in which
extra personal expenditure involved and some students must work as a part-time to deal with personal

 Professional Skills development: It basically refers to
maintaining the professional credentials such as attending
conferences, informal learning opportunities and academic
degrees to formal course work.
 There are certain professional skills which are most
important that includes leadership, problem-solving, active
listening, communication, decision-making, analytical
skills, interpersonal skills and time management as well.
