Introduction
Attaining success in academic journey is essential for a successful professional career because
academic knowledge helps students take effective decisions in professional life. The focus of this
presentation is on personal academic and professional development. The barriers of studying
about business management and succeeded in professional practice are included in this presentation
along with the significance of academic and professional skill development. . Personal SWOT
analysis to identify important skill which needs to be improved is included in this presentation.
Detailed action which will support skill development in the identified weak area are described in this
report.

• I have the weakness of ineffective time

need to start early so that students can attain their career goals quickly. Essential academic skills
such as research kills, time management skills analytical thinking skills along with professional
skills such as team working skills and strategic thinking skills support increasing credibility of a
student and in future as an employee. SWOT analysis can be used to understand the strengths,
weakness, opportunities and threats of which affect professional and academic life on the basis of
which an action plan can be created. Time management is an important skill which is needed for
both professional and academic growth.
