 Academic skills encourage student to become well organized learner and fluent
communication in English.
 Academic skills are made up of fundamental skills which include presentation
skills, academic writing, oral and written communication, critical thinking, self-
awareness, planning and writing projects and assessment, researching
information and one of the most important academic skill is research.

productivity ans success. Academic skills are essential for successful study,
essential academic skills are independent study skills, digital and numeracy
skills, communication and writing. Academic skills include data analysis,
listening, reasoning, technical literacy,,conversational skills, presentation skill,
independent learning, reading and writing (Lanz,and et.,al 2018).

 Professional skills are career ability and that are used in workplace that are
beneficial for job and help to succeed in job.
 These skill described person's habit, personality and ability that affect
performance at work place. Professional skills are a combination of both hard
skills and soft skills.
 Hard skills includes job specific duties that can be trained and soft skills includes
transferable quality like communication, leadership, team work and work ethics.

Skill that is particularly important – personal SWOT analysis
 SWOT analysis is the technique to examine the situation by looking at strengths(areas where
have an advantage over the other and have unique resources to use.), weaknesses(areas
where may be weaker than other and may find that other is better), opportunities(possibilities
that can take advantage of help to achieve goals) and threats(things that prevent from making
profit or achieving goals). It has been used by the businesses as a strategic planning tool. It
helps to give an all round view of the organisation. SWOT analysis are equally useful on a
personal level development as it is the way to identify the area for development and as part
of career discussion. A personal SWOT analysis may be useful on conditions to focus on a
specific goal or problem that want to be address. The skill is important personal SWOT

most important for developing knowledge and skills among the people that may
help in career opportunities and helps an employee to be aware of changing trends.
