INTRODUCTION
Academic and research skills can be described as to those specific abilities which are
necessary for an individual to conduct a research in effective as well as efficient manner. It
includes to several capabilities of writing, particularly in appropriate way properly. This
assignment will explain about strengths and weakness of my own and set target to improve skills.
It involves to determine threats and then make an accurate plan to overcome with the same
(Birley and Morel, 2014). I will discuss about specific target of self development and sources to
complete the same in particular period of time. It also includes a research plan and draft of my
search work along with suitable resources.
TASK 1
Personal development is very important task which is necessary to be completed by an
individual. This can be done through setting targets and then focus on that to put required efforts
in correct direction to overcome with threats of my skills. It is necessary for me to first determine
strengths and weaknesses so that I can take an appropriate step towards them. This will facilitate
to utilise strong points and reduce negative impacts of issues in abilities as well. There are
several kinds of skills such as personal, academic and language which are mandatory for me to
learn these factors properly so that research can be carried out in appropriate way to generate
desired outcomes properly. I have certain strengths and weaknesses which should be identified
properly and put an accurate actions towards them.
