TASK – 1
Reflecting on feedback and comments always give numerous advantages to students
and learners. During the first semester, I have also learned different academic as well as
transferable skills. Because of my secondary school experience, I have taken decision to
pursue this coursework and eventually, I moved to this University. Throughout my first
semester, I come across with number of role models in my tasks and assignments which
helped me to learn the ways I need to plan my work and more importantly the manner I
should communicate with others. My lecturers also supported me in solidifying my interests
in attaining my goals and tasks. Their level of dedication as well as commitment towards me
were really praiseworthy. I have learnt that patience is the key when we work in teams.
Overall, it can be said that I am satisfied with the skills I have gained during this period
however it can be improved for my own betterment and progress.
TASK – 2
During the whole semester, I have encountered different issues and challenges which
helped me to learn assortment of new skills and knowledge. I remember, in my one module I
was working in a team for my group tasks and was facing problem in communicating my
viewpoints to my other group members. I approached my teacher seeking his help in this
matter and he offered me feedback which was very constructive. He told me that create a safe
learning environment with supportive relationships. I immediately understood what my
teacher was trying to say. He further explained me that through supportive association
between the team members there will be positive influence on the group engagement and
achievement. Soon, I started calling my group members through their names, asked my
doubts, maintained eye contact, respected them and listened to their doubts. My team
members feel supported and comfortable and our communication and participation level
improved.
TASK – 3
With the help of reflective writing along with feedbacks from my tutor and their
comments, I have found that there are some of the qualities which already possessed and
some which needs to be improved at some level for the achievement of the desired goals and
objectives. I have identified three academic and transferable skills which needs to be
developed such as time management, planning and communication skills. An action plan is
being refereed underneath reflecting the intention on the ways developing these three skills:
