The term personal and professional development refers to a force that binds an individual
along with a company to indulge in a process of learning. The concept helps a person as well as
business organisation to fulfil their certain personal as well as professional objectives within a
specific period of time.
Describe and discuss the value of short-term goals identifying at least 3 personal examples.
Short Term goals are defined as a path which is followed by an individual in order to
fulfil its goals that are for short period of time or a way to achieve long term goals. Such goals
are set for a period of less than or equals to 12 months that is one year.
Three personal short term goals examples:
To hire a better coach who can teach badminton in effective manner with tricks.
To learn grammar concepts daily in order to enhance English speaking and writing skills.
To start early morning exercises so to have healthy body and mental peace.

Medium-term goals are those which are set for a period more than short term goals but
are achieved early in comparison to long term goals. Such goals are fulfilled in order to have
support for long term objectives. These goals are set for a period of more than one year (12
months) but less than three years (36 months).

To complete a graduation degree in some specialisation with a recognised university.
To build a house for my family.
To acquire knowledge and skills of narration from an experienced person.
