Introduction
A personal development plan can be referred to a tool or a technique which is helping in
developing various skills and also improving knowledge of individuals professionally as well as
personally (Osgerby, Marriott and Gee, 2018). This is also providing allowance for an individual
in order to increase their qualities effectively. The below mentioned report contains personal
development plan which consist of a different factors and skills required to be developed by an
individual. These are divided into short-term, middle term as well as long-term period in which
the plan will be achieved.

Personal and professional development refers to a process in which individuals consider
various action of meeting their goals. It is connecting with the development requirement of
individual or a group. The concept is related to personal as well as professional growth with
support but the needs in an individual. It is required by an individual to have knowledge about
certain topics in order to successfully achieve their goals and develop personal as well as
professional career.

Short-term goals are very effective for an organisation or an individual as it is focusing on
quick growth. Below mentioned are some of the personal example of short-term goals:
 Communication skill: Communication skill is a very important skill which includes ability
to develop information regarding conveying messages to another. It can be achieved in a
short duration of time and is necessary for every individual in order to develop personally
and professionally (Sasson and Miedijensky, 2020).
 New management skill: It is an important skill required in an organisation. It includes
managing changing needs and requirements of customers for an organisation.
 Time management: Management of time is another important shirt term goals that allows
individuals to successfully manage their work in time.
