I am the student at a University and for the purpose of reviewing my learnings and
enhancing its effectiveness I planned to develop a personal development plan which is a helpful
approach for gaining success. Thus, I reviewed my short medium, and long-term goals of life in
personal as well as professional context.
Concept of personal and professional development:
Personal as well as Professional development is the procedure by which an organization
or an individual engage in learning for the purpose of meeting the challenges as well as desire
goal. The objective of personal as well as professional development is related to helping a person
to manage his or her own learning or growth throughout the person’s career (Biemiller and

and effective manner.

A short-term goal refers to objective that can be done in near future a short-term
objective is something which a person wants to accomplish soon. A short-term goal indicates
a goal that can be achieved in 12 months (Goodall Jr, 2018). My short-term goal is to increase
my academic results, improvise my communication skills and enhance my expertise in
presentation in front of crowd.
