1. Introduction
Academic skills and personal development plan both are very crucial aspect for an
individual person in terms of achieving long term sustainability that considered high level of
attentiveness. In this it is very significant that ability and attentiveness within working get
processes on continuous basis that is collectively summarized and increased with the help of
attaining academic learning and knowledge (Tongchai, Wichaidit and Koocharoenpisal, 2019).
Personal development plan is always needed for advance learning and solving probability and
issues through high improvements that are done on regular basis. Both this concept i.e. academic
skills and personal development reflects sustainable direction for a person due to which they
enjoyed long term growth in its life and attained the height of attentiveness within their career.
This project report is based on personal and professional development along with the elaboration
of values of short term, medium term and long term goals with their suitable examples. Further
this report also elucidates the knowledge about value of personal development plan with
probability to gain high competitive advantages in market that also maximize sustainability in
business world.
2. Definition of the concept of personal and professional development
Personal and professional development support an individual person in their regular learning
process and also assist them in attaining aims and objectives. Personal development highly
focused on developing social and behavioral abilities that also help in grow professional career
(Sampaio, Bastos and Marinho, 2021). To improve career in professional field an individual
person focus on setting aims and objectives these mainly includes aims of attaining a degree,
run individual business whereas in this the objective of achieving this aim is to pass all the
indulge assignments, by properly attending the class lessons and taking tips of run a business. It
is very essential to keep update in getting knowledge and skills within personal and professional
development so that positive opportunities are capture in hand within limited time period.
To attain the knowledge and skills it is very crucial to maintain continuity among working
by taking the full support of legal, safety and ethical code of conducts. Personal and
professional development often understands by continues development in job learning,

computer based learning, courses and workshops. In terms of persona development individual
emphasis on comprising emotional well-being and psychology that indirectly improves the
professional development. In this a person directly focused on generating thoughts in qualitative
manner, actions and behavior that integrated helps in attaining goals in appropriate and
systematic manner (Verhoeven, Heerwegh and De Wit, 2020). Development in skills and
knowledge helps in presenting high level of understanding that assist in interacting with large
number of people on regular basis as it is highly implemented with the provision of two skills
that considered hard and soft skills. As it is highly prominent to focus on several aspects that are
energy, time, belief, efforts which are needed to induce professional development in effective
and efficient manner.
In terms of professional development the attentiveness and focus is to be accomplished
by improvising knowledge and skills so that personal maintenance at working is to be maximized
on regular time period. Personal and professional development of skills represents the efficient
involvement of values, skills, experience and attributers through which particular person roles
and responsibilities are attained in an integrated manner. In personal and professional
development learning play an effective role because it helps in clear the concepts due to this an
individual person gained continuous improvements in a specified period of time. In terms of
developing both the field it is very essential to be managed and controlled schedule so that high
possible positive outcomes are present in career path. Therefore the growth of individual person
is basically reflects the attainment of skills and knowledge that involves with an academic
learning so that particular role is played in efficient manner. To reach the goal of developing
personal and professional growth at working place there are several requirements are reflected
that are mainly active listener, authentic team activities, flexibility, passionate towards attaining
targets, having a good understanding regarding ethics and codes of conducts all these are very
useful. To effectively attain the objectives of attaining skills and personal and professional
development several factors are to be needed that are mainly presented below:
