Introduction
Personal development planning is a process in which action plan is produced which
will help in enhancing skills and qualities of an individual. It is basically taking advantage
from awareness, values, goal setting, reflection and planning so that personal development as
well as professional career development for an individual can help them in self-improvement
techniques. There are a number of different objectives which can be classified according to
the goals that are required to be met by individual (Andersen, 2019). These are short-term,
medium-term and long-term goals. It successfully helps in assessing all the current situation
that an individual is going through and the situation of environment and market as well. In

Personal and professional development refers to a process in which individuals, teams
and organisations are engaged in a process of learning and developing new skills and
experience. It is necessary in order to make sure that all the coming challenges are met with
