The academic skills and personal development both reflects successful advancement of
learning that assist to strengthen knowledge and building of adequate confidence in systematic

Task One
Define the concept of personal and professional development.
The personal and professional development is usually used to manage and control own
knowledge and learning through which possibility to perceived sustained development is attained
in progressive manner. In support of personal development social and mental skills get
improvised on the other hand professional development used to maintain suitable focus about to
improve adequate set of skills through which individual potential to survive in working
environment is developed in effective manner.
The value of short-term goals
The short term goals are those that are used to attain required amount of procrastination
that assist and allow maintaining focus about single thing at similar period of
instance(Dahl,2019). It assists to advance the productivity as with this individual become
motivate and connected towards its daily base activity and usually take about 12 months to
complete. The different short term goals are as explained as:
Be attentive at all the classes in college
Take participate in each practical session
Enhance comprehensive skills set
The value of medium-term goals
The medium term goals are the basis of attainment of long term success as develop strong
base to future credibility’s. It is even more impactful as well through which possibility to

Personal development plan advance the ability to create and work of suitable pathway as
per maintain direct concern towards vision so that accurate goals are developed in beneficial

progression, moving towards further education, self-development and improvement that are
