Introduction
Personal development plan is used to identify what are the goals and how they can be
achieved by an individual. It is analysed to know what are the weak skills and of a person which
acts as obstacle for them to improve their personality skills (Quinn, 2019). Personality skills are
those skills which are considered to show the impact of an individual’s reputation and image on
others. A good personaly person always attracts their surroundings to them by improving their
reputation. The following report covers short term, medium term and long term goals and PDP
plan of weak goals which is hard to achieve, factors used to choose a resource and a report plan
of eight resources.

Short, medium and long term goals
The main aim or personal and professional development is to help an individual to
achieve their goals of life. Personal skills are that skill which is essential to create a good
reputation in society and professional skills are those skills which are required to perform the
desired job. Both the skills are helpful to work upon making good life career.
Short term goals- This goals have the aim to achieve within a year. The importance of
short term goals is that it helps to achieve long term goals. Most of the times I plan short term
goals to develop my personal skills. Few of my personal goals are mentioned below-
 To improve vocabulary
 To exercise on daily basis
 To develop time management skill
Medium term goals- These goals are made to achieve within 2-3 years (Adnan, 2018).
These goals are the base of achieving main aim of career. My medium term goals are mentioned
below-
 To have higher grade in graduation
 Apply for internship in a reputed company
 To get job in same company from where internship is done.
