INTRODUCTION Academic skills are approaches and ability of learning which assist in improving the ability to study, retain and recall information that helps in an and passing exams. It also consist time management and motivational techniques (Alt, 2015). Whereas academic confidences refer to the students beliefs about executing a task by accomplishing specific academic goal. This report will consist the information about trustable and untrustable sources of information, referencing and presentation with the help of suitable examples. MAIN BODY 1. Trustable and untrustable sources of information Trustable sources- It refer to a reliable and relent source which is one that offers a thorough, well considered conception, argument and discussion etc. supported by a strong evidence. The information which is authentic and available on the internet with a listed author and date can be also considered as trustable data. Scholarly, original research, extensive bibliography, google scholar are example of Trustable sources. For instant, if the scholar use these kind of source to gather information and data regarding their work project and task then the work which is completed by them is relevant and help them in offering positive outcomes regarding their work. These kind of sources are used by the scholars to collect data and performing research. So that it can be devise trustworthy authentic. The individual can prefer good reliable sites and sources like Google books, Newspaper, Peer reviewed articles, Peer reviewed journals, PhD or MBA dissertations and research, scholarly articles, educational institutions websites etc. Untrustable sources- It indicates to those unreliable sources, the information which is gathered by them does unbelievable and do not contain true, accurate and up to date data. The information which is gather by using these sources and information tool are not relabel and not able to provide desired outcomes and results (Cottrell, 2015). For example, when the scholar use these kind of sources to collect information for the completion of their academic work and task then they do not able to desired, reliable and relevant outcome. In addition to it, educational institutions will also not adopt information regarding their allotted task and work so there are minimum possibilities of pass of the scholars. 1
These kind of resources are used by the scholar in the situation of emergency and when they do not able to get sufficient and enough information regarding the completion of their projection and work or task assigned by the educational institution etc. Wikipedia, Blogs, forums, journals and articles are some examples of these kind of sources (Kim and Shumaker, 2015). 2. Explanation of referencing Referencing states acknowledging the source in the body of the work. It can be a process of linking the citations to the list of words and the information which is write down by the scholars. It can also be define that when the individual writing a piece of work and utilised someone else's words, thoughts, ideas to complete their assigned academic report and work then the person references them. To exist their ideas and thoughts scholars use report and power point presentation.Report presentation is the process of disclosing and exposing the evidence about a specific topic and theme of the scholar which is allotted by the educational instituted are known as report presentation. The major characteristics are suitable titles, simple, promptness, comparability, consistency, accurate and relearnt information etc. that are considered by the individual during the time of report writing. Power point presentation indicates to the visual and graphical communication exposure of the evidence regarding particular topic. It is the collection of individuals slides that consist data on a topic and theme (Cottrell, 2019). To devise an effective PowerPoint presentation, the scholar can consider some features of it like check out the design temples, utilise standard position, colour and style, use important data, understandable content and utilise colours that are different but not jarring or distracting.
