MAIN BODY What do you understand by a CRAAP test and how do you use it for your studies? There is a number of information which is available in online sources which are sometime reliable and sometime not reliable. In respect of this there is a test which is called CRAAP test. It is a tool which is used as a checklist at the time of evaluating a web source. This test is helpful in providing a list of questions which individual has to ask while deciding or identify the source reliability or credit ability in relation to academic research paper (Newton, 2016). It includes different elements which are currency, relevancy, authority, accuracy and purpose. Currency in this Framework stands for timeliness of information where it include the information publication posted the information which been devised and uploaded as well as various other functions related to the time of information. Relevance is a second element in this model which is related to importance of information which is needed. This includes identification of information related to the topic as well as intended audience (Cottrell, 2019). Authority is the third factor under this system we are the sources of information will be evaluated. Under this factor the authors credential within the organisation will be evaluated. It includes those systems where the qualification of authors used as resources will be tested. The fourth element of this model is accuracy. This is an important factor which includes reliability, truthfulness and correctness of the content. It includes identification of information location evidence as well as reviewing the overall information which is used in studies for the needs and requirements(Omer, 2016). The last element of this process is purpose which identifies the reason behind information existence. Under this head cover the purpose of information which can be technical selling entertainment and many other where the author and sponsor has to make intentions and purpose in a clear manners. Brilliant is a selection of library web page at the library homepage in order to use it for collecting the information about different resources and developing the academic skills within student(Poonpon, 2017). This can also define as collection of resources to support the studies in learning to search for evaluation and referencing the information in an effective manner. Eight include four functions which are searching, evaluating, referencing and help desk. This is a useful function which can be used by students in order to improve their study skills. this is important function as it help in providing references to various study materials inrelationtocompletingtheacademicprojectsofstudentswhilepursuingdifferent graduation courses. This also motivate and using appropriate system to achieve better functionality in different subjects. This is also helpful in improving study skill where an individual can use references from various sources and gather the information in relation to the particular topic. It will help in exploring the topic in an appropriate way reducing it for future benefits(Usta, 2017)
