INTRODUCTION
Academic skills signifies the ability in self reflecting and critical thinking including, academic
writing and its presentation in a proper format. This skills encourage the students to cultivate the
thoughts and ideas to express in their terms and sense. The level of understanding on a subject
can be analysed by the reflecting expression of an student. This skills enables and encourage the
students to become efficient learners and this boost the confidence in the students to participate
in any disciplines(Kaya Şenyuva & Bodur2018). Academic skills develops varieties of skills
with a positive attitude to face the challenges and to face the challenge independently by
applying the mind. Academic skills helps in studies, these skills helps the students to study more
and develop the better understanding of the course or subjects which helps in scoring good in
exams. This report will cover the broad concept of academic skills and studying with confidence
along with its benefits and advantages.

literature review is a process of understanding overview on the various topics which neds to
address effectively to achieve the main gist of the topic(Zhangand et.al 2018). It gives the clear
idea of topics which needs to be review. Literature review comprise of certain essential concepts.

Academics skills plays crucial role for the students to achieve the efficiency in academics. It
develops the quality of leadership in the students to participate in various disciplines. The
essential requirement for developing the equality of academic skills is the critical thinking. The
students must develop the sense of critical thinking. The teachers needs to organise academics
events with the view to assess the students mental ability, creativity and understanding of the
topic(Muenks Wigfield & Eccle 2018). There are various academic events which needs to be
organised by the teachers to develop the academics skills in the students which are of various
types:
Academic Discourse: it pertains to interaction which is one of the significant for presenting or
expressing the information. Discourse is the practice of communication between people on a
given topic which is commenced in the form of debate, discussion or presentation. The teachers
