INTRODUCTION
The academic integrity is a major practice which includes the development of discipline
and ethical practices in the individual (Click, 2017). In the different institutions which are
situated in different parts of UK implements necessary practices related to academic integrity in
order to gain desired growth in a short span of time. It is essential for a student to develop,
academic integrity and professional practices in the career and academic life. In this project,
there is a game designed which catches plagiarism in a short period of times and will be helpful
in academics. This report also includes the importance of maintaining academic integrity in the
academic environment for better development of the candidate.

TASK 1
Design a game for students that develops strategies for avoiding plagiarism and academic
misconduct
It is essential to avoid or eliminate the practice of avoiding plagiarism in the universities
and institutions.. The game which is designed after a long hard work is named as “catch the
plagiarism' and this game is effective in developing key practices related to plagiarism and check
it. It is the major demand in many universities and institutions to develop a game which is
effective in catching the plagiarism in order to avoid cheating in the institutions (Hysaj, 2021).
Most of the successful institutions and universities of United Kingdom will use this game to
prevent academic misconduct related practices. Students in academic life should not follow
cheating of various modules and the assignments which are given to them by universities. All the
plagiarism which is there in the academic practices related to the assignment will be tested by
“catch the plagiarism'' game. The game was designed in the time period of two months and was
tested by various professional IT experts. The plagiarism is a false practice which gives rise to
academic misconduct in universities and institutions. It is important for the universities to
develop effective practices that enables the students to develop assignments without plagiarism
and this games helps the students and teachers in a major sense. The game which is designed by
team, focuses on nearly all the types of files and takes help of information and technology to
fulfil the practices.

instructions for playing the game
The game will be played on computer system and will include all the instructions and
terms and conditions related to the working. It is moral responsibility of the management to also
develop clear instructions for the students to develop the game in a desired manner. The game
will be played by two or more people (Pratt, 2021). They will first turn on the computer system
and then scan the whole document in a precise manner which will be the initial step in the game.
In the second phase, a students will click on the red button which is designed to identify
plagiarism in the whole document. Once the plagiarism is identified, the students will be also
given a precise methodology which will be helpful in identification of solutions that are effective
in solving the whole game.
An explanation of why academic integrity at University is so important
In the development of an effective personality of a student, academic integrity plays a
crucial role. In Universities, the academic integrity is implemented and maintained with the help
of discipline and professionalism for long term development of student. Following are the points
which justify importance of the academic integrity:
Academic integrity develops effective personality of a student which helps in
development of career growth of the student.
The practise of academic integrity brings motivation and mental strength in the
individual which is essential for developing spirit in the individual.
Academic integrity also brings professionalism in the life of a student and is also
responsible for developing ethics and integrity in the students (Raje, 2020)
The academic integrity also develops a strategic approach in handling day to day
and career related operations for systematic growth of the individual.
Academic integrity also helps a person to develop practical approach in finding
systematic solutions to the problem.

Reflection on skills used to produce the gain
In the production of game, there is a good requirement of problem solving skills which
helped me in developing game in a set period of time. I also developed my communication and
coordination skills in order to develop ethical practices for the game. In order to develop the
game I improved my information and technology related skills and took support of advanced
computer systems and software (Seeland, 2021) I also took support of my seniors and experts to
develop reasoning and logical skills that were required by me to produce the game in a
significant manner. The game which was related to plagiarism also demanded the need of
professional skills in order to achieve desired success. It was also compulsory for us to modify
the game by seeking advice and feedback of different users. We developed modification skills in
order to make desired changes in the game. I also learned different approaches of time
management in order to complete different task on a specific timeline. The hard skills like
communication helped me to design the game in a perfect manner. Also the soft skills related to
information and technology in making the game digital in academics (Sotiriadou, 2020). I also
gained and formulated team management skills while working in a group to design the game.

CONCLUSION
From the above stated report it can be concluded that, academic integrity is a major
practice which brings patience and discipline related to academic life. The academic integrity is
most important act which is to be practised by the student to lead the competition with
competitive edge. This project concludes that it is compulsory for a student to maintain academic
integrity in academic life for doing sustainable practices. The above mentioned report also
concludes that it is most crucial for a student to maintain ethics and integrity while practising for
academic integrity to gain desired success.
