The list of strengths in reference to Arden University’s Graduate Attributes could be
clearly seen from the above table that there are certain professional, transferable and soft skills
that are required to be present in academic students to achieve excellence in the future. However,
technical, leadership, research and communication are some skills that need to be improved by
me over period.
Furthermore, three things that could be done to improve the above stated weakness would be
through:
Talking to more people and collecting their opinions so that best learning and way of
working might be understood (Cirocki and Widodo, 2019)
Learning certain aspect in detailed and in depth manner so that researching skills are
improved.

Task-2
Academic integrity is refers to certain expectations that teachers, students and all the
members of the academic community would act with honesty, integrity, fairness and much more
while conducting various activities within the workplace or any other (Ferguson, 2018).
Moreover, the academic integrity ensures that all students are working in ethical manner and if
anyone breaches than it would be referred as misconduct and his / her would not be
acknowledged (ACADEMIC INTEGRITY, 2022). The three examples through which the
academic integrity could be achieved in the Arden University are
Avoiding any kind of the Plagiarism in submitting any content of data to the tutor. Thus,
this means that content provided by students should not be another author’s thoughts,
ideas, expression etc. and if so that there should be proper mentioning of the source
Treating all others students equally and fairly and not having any kind of self-interest or
prejudice against others (Schlesselman, 2020).
Strictly following the University rules and not trying to take unfair advantage in any of
the mid assessments, mid term or tests.
Being completely accountable on work that is submitted at certain point of time and
doing group work in best of their abilities.
Task-3
It is very important for managing all the task on time so that there is no stress and also all
the work is completed on the given deadline (Subramani and Iyappan, 2018). Furthermore, it can
be said that this could be only possible through designing the weekly schedule so that based on
Document Page
that regularity might be maintained and also the best positive outcome could be achieved in the
end. Also, time management helps the individual to remain focused and also helps him to remain
motivated to achieve certain things in well manner without depending much on others.
Moreover, if the time of the student is not managed (properly) than it would result in poor
productivity and miss of various deadlines. Furthermore, effective time management always
results in higher productivity and ensures that there are minimum chances of errors. Also, it
helps in achieve greater focus and prioritization of various tasks based on their importance so
that best output could be delivered. Also, my timetable for completing certain task is been

Thus, by following the above time table I would be able to regularly focus on my daily
routine activities and would also be able to keep check on what are lacking areas so that
corrective actions could be taken on time (Evans, Henderson and Ashton-Hay, 2019). Moreover,
through this time table I would be able to properly organize my various things and also would be
able to ensure that both my physical and mental well-being is ensured so that I am able to live
productive life. Furthermore, this time table would help me to assure excellence even in daily
tasks where full concentration is required so that right things are accomplished in the right time.
It would be also helpful for my friends that are struggling to manage things in proper manner.
Task-4
From the overall academic integrity course that I have learnt that it can be said that it
went quite very well as I was able to learn and improve various skills that are very essential for
my own personal and professional development in the future. Moreover, my overall experience
could be linked through the Gibbs model of reflection where earlier it could have been said that
I was very nervous about learning new concepts and adjusting myself into the new working
environment but even though university and its session related to academic integrity, plagiarism
etc. had taught me very well so that I am confident enough to be able to achieve excellence in
any of the filed I would like to work in the future. Also, after completing this session I can say
that things went well because all my supervisors and colleagues were quite supportive and
provided me full assistance to carry out certain task in well-defined manner (Lampi and
Reynolds, 2018).
Also, I have realized that whenever I have faced any kind of difficulties I would be
assisted very well so that same mistake would not be repeated in the future. Moreover, it went
well as being in the university after some time I have build up the confidence that I would
achieve my set short and long term goals for my own benefit ans thus this helped me to move in
right direction and remain motivated. However, some things not well as when I was assigned as
leader of the small groups during one of the assignments and have realized that I was not being
able to handle the group due to weak communication. As result of it I was not able to prove my
point to others and explain what needs to be exactly done in the project (Cheung and et.al.,
Document Page
2022). Thus, it had lead to confusion among the groups and also I was not able to assign better
roles and responsibilities to each of the members. However, I have learnt for this lesson that it is
very important that while working in groups each individual strengths and weakness need to be
identified so that best roles than could be assigned for the future.
Also, I have learnt from experience that best project could be submitted only when good
researching skills are implied and this could be achieved only through the daily practices.
Furthermore, group activity it is very good when complex projects have to be achieved in short
span of time and also collaborative approach is required for having the best outcome of the
project in the future.
Thus, it can be said that one action that you will take forward t to one year of your degree
programme would be that to improve the skills to level that it would allow me to get the best
graduate job in the most reputed organization in the future. Furthermore, it would allow me to
pursue the post graduate course for my higher studies and will also allow me to become self-
employed if I wish to become in due course of time. Moreover, the development of the such
skills would help me to discover the new aspects that are essential for ensuring continuous
success in the future.

TASK 4
Meaning of note taking and its importance to students
Note-taking refers to the practice that helps the person to record the information by
searching on the different sources and sites. It makes the person to have the correct information
for which he is required to make the notes. This is considered as the best practice in order to
obtain and compile the information that supports them to answer the questions. It is commonly
made from the source that are made orally in some meetings, classroom, lectures, etc. This is the
important part for the students as this helps them to have proper record of the information on the
hard subjects (Luo and et.al., 2018). It is somehow complex that helps the person to have proper
management of the studies in their learning.
The note taking is the crucial skill for the students as teachers or professional used to
provide lectures and the students must note down that will benefit them in many ways. The main
purpose to make the note is to plant the mind by making the notes in different ways. This makes
the students to compare their performance by making notes with the notes not made previously.
The hand written notes can be considered best for the students to have better learning.
Two note-taking methods with advantages and disadvantages
The two note taking methods is as described below:
1. The outline method: This is bets method of note taking as this is mostly used in
meetings, colleges and school. This helps to make the proper notes by having the
proper structure by saving time (Witherby and Tauber, 2019). The notes made by
this is properly structured and make easy to highlight the important things.
Advantages Disadvantages
It minimize the editing time.
Easy to make.
Not useful in those subjects which has
charts and formula.
Not effective if structure not followed.
2. The chart method of note taking: This method is basically used when there is
recording of statistics and facts. In this the rows and columns that made that make the different
category in the note making.

I have learnt about the various things in my study that helps me have better learning in
my field. I have also made the note in my learning that makes me to record the information in my
learning. By gathering the notes makes me to learn about the various skills that I need to develop
and importance of plagiarism in writing.
I have use the mind mapping method as this is the most usable method in order to make
the notes. In this I have made the mind maps which helps me make the record of what I have
learned in this module week. As I have made mind map related to time management, reflective
and academic writing, academic integrity and referencing and different skills that are needed to
be improved in order to have better study.
ASSIGNMENT TWO: FINAL PORTFOLOIO SUBIMISSION
1. Reflection of above four tasks
TASK 1: The task 1 is based on the auditing of the skills that are required in personal
development. In this there are strengths and weak skills are described to have the better learning
in the University. From the lecture I have received the feedback that the areas of improvement is
not well written (Kadam, 2018). So I have done changes in that part and written the best areas in
order to have improvement in the lacking areas. By having focus on such areas it will help me to
have better development in the learning.
TASK 2: In this task I have described about the meaning of academic integrity that helps
the students to have better understanding. By receiving the feedback from the lecturer it says that
the examples written to achieve the academic integrity in the University can be mould. So I have
focused on that feedback and done changes which helps me to have better learning about the
academic integrity and its use in college. By having the academic integrity it makes the
University to have the better and fair treatment with the students that helps the lecturer to provide
better learning.
TASK 3: The task 3 is based on the time management and in this weekly schedule is
made in order to manage the study. As my lecturer has checked the and appraised me that I have
made the good weekly schedule (Harefa, 2019). It takes me lot of time to manage the work
according to the time written in the schedule. This help me to have better and proper learning of
the information on time. This was the best feedback I have received and this motivates me to
follow the proper plan made by me in the weekly schedule.

TASK 4: This last task is about the reflective writing and academic writing. In this task I
have got the feedback on the reflective writing that I must use more models in order to write the
best reflection. So I have improved that feedback and done the improvements in the reflective
writing. This helps me to improve the writing of self-reflection and having bets academic skills.
The lecturer has also given the positive feedback for the methods I have written in the note
taking as this is the most use methods in college.

From the sources of academic integrity it is seen that it is very important to have the basic
knowledge about it (Esparrago-Kalidas, 2021). This help the reader to know about from
where the information has been taken in order to complete the project.
By taking the source of refrencing it shows that it used to play a crucial part in order to
prepare the project. By this the professional used to know that from where the students
has taken the information.
In the plagiarism source, there is the information about the plagiarism and its importance
which helps me to make the project easily. This will make the lecturer easy to know that
from where I have taken the information and who is the author.
