Introduction Academic skills are the skills which supports the student irrespective of any field in forming effective as well as systematic research projects. The main purpose of academic writing is to explain the idea of research in a way that leads to better feedback from the readers. The report will include short reflection about my induction experience as well as will also able to explain what I have learnt in library. Moreover, the report will also involve the facility of student support services and my first year experience. Reflection of my induction training program: The following are the information and experience that I have experienced in my induction program in Waltham international college are: My experience of induction program is good as I came to know that the university provides a high quality of learning environment as well as the college also practices an exclusive approach for learning as well as assessment(Stanley, C. R., Belisle, J., & Dixon, M. R. (2018). I came to know that the university also provides a framework with a clear structure that will help me to attain my goals of academic studies and my personal as well as professional development. In this induction program, I came to know about the mission as well as vision of Waltham international college such as the mission of the college is to value and support the students throughout their studies. In addition to this, I have also understood that the college will help me in unleashing my best abilities by providing highest quality of real world programs. I have also realised from my induction training is that the college will provide a support to its students in the form of providing assistance for developing self awareness as well as the college will also provide to its students the confidence to make build more focus in their studies(Kyttälä, M., Kanerva, K., Munter, I., & Björn, P. M. (2019). Reflection about my library experience: After taking a view as well as visiting the library I came to know that the library of the college has over 500 collection of books. The library of the university will provide their students a broad range of books which will be related to different specialised courses such as business and
management as well as health and social care topics. I also came to know that I can access to wide range of books, journal articles as well as other specialised materials through the online app that I can see by sitting form anywhere and anytime. In addition to this, I came to know that the college also provides to its students the E- resources which catersa wider range of full text journals that can I can access at any given point of time. Moreover, I was supported by the team of college which are highly skilled as well as professional in nature. I also came to know that can I can easily search and print books that I need as well as I can also access subject specific topic which helped me to study in the more detailed and immersive level(Lin, Y. C., & Magnuson, K. A. (2018). I have also received a library card that provided me the benefit in terms of receiving travel discounts within the UK. Writing about the two favourite books: The one book that has learned is about the Human Resource Management, the following are the points that have been learned from this book are: It came to know about the definition of human resource management as well asalso came to know about the importance of human resource management in companies management of human resources. It also understood about the the skills needed in order to effectively manage the human resources of the company . It was also studied about the current challenges which is faced by human resource managers in managing the employees of the company. In addition to this, It was known after reading the Human Resource Management book is about the skills needed to strategically make human resource plans as well as also learnt about the tips required to effectively plan HRM functions(Brandlistuen, R. E., Flatø, M., Stoltenberg, C., Helland, S. S., & Wang, M. V. (2021). The other book that was liked is Digital media culture: From this it has understood about the various digital media practices which involves creative coding . It has also understood about the method of analysing data by using different approaches. It also came to know about the critical issues present in today's digital cultures.

Explaining about how accessible was the student support services and sharing the first year experience: The Waltham international college provides its student the facilities which are described below: The college provides computing as well as internet facilities to its students by providing wide range of PCs as well as provides high speed dedicated broadband connections to all of its students The college also provides its students free access to customers by which they can do their research projects easily and conveniently. The college also provides to its students the facility to study 24/7 by establishing virtual learning environment system, this also builds an student interaction with each other. The photo copying as well as printing facility is also present in the college premises. The college also provides an English support classes especially for its foreign students through which the students can improve their English(Suntheimer, N. M., & Wolf, S. (2020). My fist semester experience: In the first year, I have studied about the business plan as well as also understood about the fundamental of marketing. Apart from this, I have also studied under the module of introduction to business operations and management, the portfolio case study. Conclusion: It has been analysed from the report that effective academic writing is crucial in order to perform better in studies as well as while doing projects. The report has covered my reflection about the induction program. In addition to this, the report has also included about the reflection of my library experience. Moreover, the report has also covered the reflection of my favourite books as well as also covered the student supportive services.
