INTRODUCTION
Study skills are also known as the array of skills in which can be used by the individual to
use their knowledge in order to complete the tasks in an effective manner. There are various
types of skills to deal with the assessments and complete them prior to time. This report aims to
analyse about understanding the importance of academic study skills which will help the
individual to perform better in certain activities (AlHouli, and Al-Khayatt, 2020). On the other
hand, in this report there will be brief discussion about how Covid 19 has impacted the university
classes. In this new era Covid 19 has affected various person and there are multiple challenges in
order to carry out their day to day activities. This report generally covers about discussing all the
factors in which Covid 19 has impacted the studies of the students. They have to switch towards
online learning most of the students have to adapt to the new learning experience. Along with
that, the major focus of this report is to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of online
learning. For further instance, there are various aspects which can be used in order to support the
particular project.

Research on the chosen topic
Covid 19 also known as coronavirus is an infectious disease which has affected various
individuals all over the world. Most of the peoples are experiencing mild and moderate
symptoms. There are some people which requires serious treatment and they need to get serious
medical attention. The virus has significantly affected most of the business and daily life of the
individuals. There are multiple day to day activities which needs to be carried out properly.
There are multiple universities which has shifted their way of teaching and providing the online
learning experience to the students (Ashiq, Rehman, and Batool, 2018). The technological tools
will help the universities to competence their operations in a significant manner in this new era
of digitalization. There are various other universities which is been developing their own way of
enhancing the online process and make it more engaging for the students. There are various areas
which can be improved and the skills could be developed in order to become more competitor
with the new environment.

Covid 19 pandemic has disrupted the teaching and multiple variety of universities in the
education sector. Online learning is the new process which is been implemented by most of the
colleges. Students perception is quite different and the learning is also new and unite. Most of the
individuals are facing several challenges in order to cope up with their studies. This is the new
process which is generally been centred towards the student education. Online learning has
become the integral part of 21st century. The internet is been used by most of the students in
order to develop the necessary skills (Dimaunahan, and Panoy, 2021). This will help them to
complete the projects prior to time and achieve great results in the future. Online platforms is
been created to share the knowledge all over the world. The online approach is been used to
provide the engaging and interactive experience to the individuals. The teachers works as the
supervisors which guides the students towards various programs and other courses. There are
multiple organisations which is enhancing their digital platforms and making it more better to
provide the efficient online learning experience to most of the students. There are multiple areas
which needs to be explored online learning by the candidates. The online process is a bit
complex and there are disadvantages which is been faced by the persons. The pandemic has
enhanced the options for the new alternatives and online learning is been developing in this new
era.
Online learning during Covid 19
The universities which have good infrastructure and they have the ability to conduct the
classes online. This is certainly not the major challenge for them. On the other hand, the
universities which are not developed and are developing their structure generally finds it difficult
to the new working environment. In the new pandemic era online learning is the tools which can
be used by the students. They have the ability to grant the access over their suitable time. Online
learning also offers flexibility to the students and they can become more competitive with the
changing market scenario. They can indulge in new courses which will make their superior and
enhance their overall knowledge (Gözüm, and Aktulun, 2021). Most of the online courses is also
providing several assignments which needs to be completed by the students and submit it to their
teachers. The main idea behind online learning is to help the candidates to grow further in their
studies and achieve different skills in an effective manner. Most of the students can also become
more creative in order to complete their assessments. The skills includes time management,
decision making and critical thinking which can be used most of the students in order to perform

better in certain situations. They can be more critical towards their activities in completion of
various tasks. Most of the universities are making their online learning process more interactive
and engaging in every manner (Guo, and et.al 2022). In the online learning the students are free
to ask various types of feedbacks. With the help of the feedbacks the teachers can improve the
areas in which they are lacking in a strategic manner. They can make the online learning
experience more enriching towards various things. The students needs to enhance their skills in
isolation and they needs to become more comfortable with the new way of teaching.
Advantages of Online learning
The process of online learning and indulging into various courses is enriching,. It al;so
helps the individual to function in a better and carry out multiple activities appropriately. Online
learning is the interactive experience which is been given to the students in order to enhance their
overall skills and capabilities. There are multiple advantages of Online learning which is been
described below:
 Online learning is flexible – This is one of the most important benefit of online learning.
The students can adapt to new things and overcome different challenges. With the help of
online learning it virtually allows the students to become more capable on carrying out
their activities (Kan'an, 2018). The universities are making the live sessions more
interactive in every manner. The schedule of the online classes is fixed the students have
the privilege to record their classes. This is the benefit of the online learning and compute
the online work in a strategic manner.
 Ability to purse their career for the future – The students can pursue their career and
capitalise on multiple opportunities which could arise in the future. The career
advancements is significantly easy with the help of indulging in new and interactive
courses. They can choose the flexible option to become more professional in their career.
 Wider Range of Courses and programs – Online learning giving the chance to the
candidates in which they can choose from multiple courses. The students can uproot their
lives and become more comprehensive towards their studies. There are multiple
renowned programs which the universities is offering to the students. This is also
intended to enhance the competition in education sectors. The candidates the rich
experience in which they can develop their knowledge for the future. The courses which
is been evolving on the online platforms could be afford by most of the students.

 Customizable learning environment – The students have the opportunity to complete
their courses work in which they are indulge online form the remote areas. The
individuals can access the online platforms with the help of good and stable internet
connection (TKanwal, and Butt, 2021). It s one of the most safe option in this new era of
pandemic. This is the advantage of online learning which will help the individuals to
grow further in the future in certain situation they can also perform better.
Disadvantages of Online learning
There are some adverse effects of online learning there are various disadvantages of
online learning which is been mentioned below:
 Technological issues – There are various universities which does have the appropriate
infrastructure and technological tools in order to help the students learn new things. The
glitches and errors in the online platforms could create the leap of gaps for most of the
individuals. They need to find the stable internet connection in order to access towards
the digital platforms (KORKMAZ, and ÖZTÜRK, 2020). The students living in different
geographical areas might face issue of internet connectivity and other severe problems.
This is the lack of continuity in the online education process which is the major problem
for the individuals. There needs to be proper utilisation of resources and the tools needs
to be proper in terms of providing the excellent experience to the individuals.
 Teachers lacking in several areas – Online learning requires the teachers to become
more work oriented towards their activities. There is the simple procedure which needs to
be understand by them in order to use multiple digital platforms and tools. The teachers
needs to analyse multiple tools and this new era of digitalisation to provide the effective
experience to the candidates (Mason, 2019). There are multiple universities which is been
indulging in new training programs and taking viable measures in order to enhance the
knowledge of the teachers towards the new digital platforms.
 Sense of Isolation – This is one of the most common disadvantage of online learning. In
the online classes some of the students might find themselves in the difficult position.
There is not the proper amount of interaction between the students and the teachers.
There are various methods and strategies which is been used by the teachers in order to
make the online lectures more friendly and interactive. Various universities are

conducting the activities which will help the candidate to attain the growth and they can
achieve better results in the future objectives.
 Managing the screen time – This is the safety hazard for the students. Online learning
can affect the students health and put a strain on their eyes. This is the disadvantage of
online learning and create various ineffective situation for the individuals. On the other
hand, there are plenty of breaks which needs to be taken by the students in regards to
their health and the universities needs to become more cooperative towards various things
(Neiles, and Bowers,2020). The individuals needs to take protective measures they need
to indulge in the classes by forming the schedule. This will provide them necessary
advantage for the future activities.
 Online learning requires self discipline – The students needs to become self disciplined
in carrying out the online classes. They need to focus more on their studies and finish
their assignments and tasks in an effective manner. The universities takes the regular
attendance of the students. The candidates needs to be virtually present in the class and
focus on more the courses and learning classes. The online courses needs great sense of
accountability (Nwosu, and et.al 2018). Most of the universities enhance the online
learning experience with the help of interactive sessions and organise various quizzes to
enhance their weak areas. The universities has also taken the initiative to make the
students comfortable with the new way of learning.

Reflection
This presented essay based on proper research and there are various learnings which is
conducted in a significant manner (Wornyo, Klu, and Motlhaka, 2018). While completing this
project I have faced various barriers. The main focus is to finish the tasks in a proper manner. At
first, this project was quite difficult there needs to be detailed research which needs to be
conducted to understand various aspects of this particular project. The research of this particular
topics needs to be analysed in a proper manner by doing extensive research. I was very curios to
learn about new things it will certainly help me to become better for the future purposes. I can
also complete the assignments with the help of new and interactive methods. I have understand
about Covid 19 and how the Universities are handling this current situation. There are certain

measures which is been taken by them in order to provide the enhanced learning experience to
the students. While doing the research on this project I have concentrate on multiple aspects
which will make me more superior towards various things and I can fulfil the objectives. On the
other hand, There are various friends which has suggested me various websites to collect and
sample the data in regards to Covid 19. The project has enhanced the vision and there are various
goals which can be attained in a proper manner.
There are various types of articles which have improved various areas and help me to
become more comfortable with this particular project (Wurdinger, Newell, and Kim 2020). I
have developed various skills which includes time management, decision making, problem
solving which had helped me to become more better towards the future. With the help of time
management skills I have focused more on this particular projects and has done the extensive
research in an effective manner. I have set new standards in order to complete this particular
project and achieve a personal growth for the future, Fir further instance, with the help of
decision making skills I have taken the proper decisions in which there are certain regulatory
functions which will make me more superior towards different aspects. I have used new tools in
order to gather and sample the data which is been applied in this report. The analysis of every
prospective is clear with the help of using new and effective methods. The decision making skills
could be in the future in order to take better situations and carry out the activities properly. As I
move further in this project I have seen various advantages over the situations. I have also
analysed that how Covid 19 pandemic has impacted the learning process and the new online
learning experience is complicated in perspective of various other individuals.
While conducting the research I have faced severe problems which was affecting my
efficiency. With the help of new technological tools I have done the research which fits perfectly
with may day to day lifestyle and the new current trends (Yu, 2021). With my current skill set I
have become more competitive with the changing market scenario. I can function better for the
future with the new and unique skills. In the future I can also improve the quality of my
assignments and become more evolved with the new era. The topics which is been given has also
enhanced my values and ethics towards various things. There are various goals and objectives
which I am confident enough in order to attain in the future. I have boost the morale by engaging
in various types of activities and I am becoming more familiar with this project. I have also

assessed the gaps and areas in which I was lacking and opting for better methods in order to
become better for future purposes.
I have also taken the initiative to make the projects more enhanced and complete the
work in a concise manner. I have also realised that there are various disadvantages which is been
faced by most of the students while indulging the online working standards. I have personally
grown new strengths and improve my weak spots with the help of proper research and gaining
the knowledge in various areas. I have also formulated the new strategies which is been
presented in order to complete this report. The main challenge to complete this research is the
part of doing the extensive research. Gathering the data and compiling them to utilise it in a
proper manner. It is the main objective of the project I have focused of completing the work in
the given structure and by following the proper guidelines. I have gathered the data of the
universities which is been intended to improve their infrastructure in order to provide the
effective services to the students. I have realised that Covid 19 is still affecting the operations
and whole economy of multiple countries. I have taken the feedbacks form my teachers to
improve this project. I need to make the evaluation of various things and other factors as well
which is been used to make the things carried out in a proper manner.

CONCLUSION
From the above report, it has been concluded that Covid 19 has impacted various sectors
all over the world. There are various challenges which has been arises in front of them due to this
pandemic situation. In this report there is discussion about the Online learning experience which
is implemented by most of the universities. With the help of this process the main focus is to
provide the seamless experience to the students with the changing technology. On the other hand,
there is evaluation about benefits and adverse effects of online learning in regards to the students
perspective. The organisation also needs to asses their areas in which they are lacking and needs
to improve it in an effective manner. For further instance, the use of new digital platforms will
help the students to become more professional in their way of carrying out multiple activities.
There is the reflection in this report which is been the general summary of all the projects. There
are various skills and capabilities which has been developed while completing this particular
project.
