INTRODUCTION
Academic study skills are that skills which an individual learns at the time of academics.
Writing skills, note-taking skills, listening skills and many more are the skills which are
considered to be academic skills. These skills are important to enhance ones confidence,
competence and self-esteem(Villarreal and Martinez, 2018). There is also an advantages of
having such skills is to develop a project report research. The chosen topic for this report is about
a visitor who is visiting a city for a single day. The visitor is going to visit in London, UK. There
is a need of proper suggestions to the visitor about where to stay, where to visit, where to eat and
what to purchase. This report will cover all about the information of the place where the visitor
should visit. There is the explanation about what are the advantages to visit such a place and
what are the attractive things in that city. This report will also cover the place where should that
visitor stay and why should the visitor stay at that place. There are a lot of famous things to eat
and purchase. This report will also cover some of the suggestions about such places.
MAIN BODY
A foreign visitor has only day to spend in your country. Where should this visitor go on
that day? Why? Use specific reasons and details to support your choice
The London is the largest city in the united kingdom. It is based on the Thames river in
the south Eastbank of England. In the united kingdom the opted place is London where the
visitor can go to visit most beautiful places. There are various places in UK where individual
can enjoy as well as explore various things such as tradition, food, religion, language, culture and
many more. An amazing beaches, beautiful lakes, monuments, studios and adventurous theme
park depicts the beauty of London. The mention below are the following places where a visitor
can go and have amazing experience in a day.
WARNER BROS. STUDIO TOUR
An another place for foreigner to visit in United kingdom London is Warner Bros.
Studio Tour. This is the studio which determines the making of harry potter. This considers the
various places like gift shops, cafes and many more to enjoy. As foreigner has only one day to
enjoy the places in UK. They must visit at this studio. This studio requires the plenty of time in
order to visit whole studio as it includes the array of sets and props which are used in the real sets
of harry potter films. The one who is the big fan of harry potter, this place is for them. You can

spend hours at their as you will get to know about the making of harry potter films, amazing
theme and costumes. This is the place where family and friends can visit where you will get a
chance to enjoy the Diagon Alley and can see sets as Weasley's joke shop and Ollivanders. In
London, this is the very popular and attractive place to visit. For this place you have to book a
ticket in advance(Goodwin, 2019). For fully enjoying this place at least 4 hours are required.
There are facility of eating also as there are many shops of eatery items, gift shops, you can hire
your digital guide also, cloak room for coats are also there and many more. Thus, it is
recommended to the foreigner to visit this place as this is very attractive place, and they will
have great experience there.
TOWER OF LONDON
The another place is Tower of London to visit in United Kingdom. This is a kind of
monument in London which an individuals must visit. The monument and heritage places are the
most attractive place to visit. The tower of London includes , The Crown Jewels, Bloody Tower,
The White Tower, Torture at the Tower exhibition, Fusiliers Museum and Royal Mint
exhibition. It is the Historic mansion on the north side of Thames river in London. An owner of
this mansion is King Charles III. It has been formed as the tourist attract for the foreigners in the
country. At this place there are the display of the armour and Royal Menagerie. Now onwards
this place also provide an accommodation facility for the visitors. This place is denoted as the
UNESCO world heritage site which attract the more than 3 million visitors everyday. Therefore,
it is suggested to the foreigner to visit this place as this is the heritage mansion and an individual
can also stay there according to their comfort and affordable prices. This is the most attractive
place to attract the visitors and museum are the places which individual should visit(Sera and
McPherson, 2019).
THE LONDON EYE
An individual can also go to the The London Eye. It is also determines as the
millennium wheel which is located at the south bank of the Thames River. It the Europe tallest
and largest cantilevered observation wheel. This wheel provides the visitor to enjoy the highest
view points of the London. This is the place which was designed by the couple squad of Julia
Barfield and David Marks. This is the worlds largest cantilevered wheel, at 135 meter. This has
won the eighty five awards for international and national tourism attraction and also for the

architectural quality & engineering achievements. From this wheel a visit0or can enjoy the
London's visitors attraction from the height. So it is advised to the visitor to visit this place as
from this they can enjoy most of the places from height and cover up major areas in a day(Bui
and Phi, 2022).
THE BOND STREET & KINGS ROAD CHELSEA
For shopping in the London a visitor can visit the Bond street, kings road Chelsea, Sloane
street and many more. The Bond street is a place from where the popular celebs also shop from
an expensive jewellery store and the designer shops. At this street a visitor gets the designer and
branded shop for shopping. An other street is kings road Chelsea which is the famous street of
London. At this street there are lots of small boutique shops, clubs restaurant and pubs. The big
easy restaurant is the famous and popular restaurant among the celebs from the huge TV shows
such as made in Chelsea and big brother. This street includes the bakers street to the homes of
Russian and Arab billionaires. So it is recommended to the visitor to go on this street for a
shopping to get a designer outfit just like celebs.
Premium inn hotel
In London, individual can stay in Premium inn hotel which is one of the UK's largest
brand hotel. It provides consumer with luxury room and with best quality services. In hotel
individual can stay because it provide customers with the different facilities such as en-suite
bathroom, swimming pool facilities. It also give free breakfast according to the choice of the
customers. They also provide free Wi-Fi facilities and the individual visiting there can enjoy,
clubbing in the night. The managers of the hotel also work in favour of children as the hotel also
have playing zone for small kids.
Thus, the foreigners visiting this hotel can stay here as it provides customers with reasonable rate
room and according to the comfort of the individual.
Buckingham palace
While visiting London individual should visit Buckingham palace which is one of the
royal residence. It is one of the focal point for the British people where national rejoicing and
mourning takes place. This palace is the centrepiece of the UK's constitutional monarchy which
is serving as the venue for various royal events and ceremonies. In this palace state banquets,
lunches, dinners, reception also takes place. Here national celebrations also takes place. Here the

individual can observe different culture, tradition, ceremonies happening there. In this palace
foreigner can also come to know about Queen's gallery and the various ancient art and pictures.
In this palace the individual should also surely visit Windsor castle which is amazing and
beautiful. Individual should visit this place to know more about king and Queen.
ZSL zoo
ZSL zoo London is one of the famous zoo in the London where not only kids but every
individual can enjoy. Here the foreign visitors can enjoy watching different animals and species
with friends and families. The individual can also observe rare wild animals. This zoo is
regarded as one of the most well known Zoo in the world which is housing more than 750
different species. Here, visitors may take in a variety of animal-related exhibits, including
Butterfly Paradise, the Reptile House, and the Land of the Lions. So come down and enjoy
exploring the zoo with the loved ones. Visitors can also feed the animals under the supervision of
the care taker of the animal with different kinds of foods. The individual must visit this place
because here are different kinds of animals which are rarely found in other places. The individual
can enjoy being there as they can observe the activities of the animal.
Peppa Pig theme park
In London, foreigners can enjoy mmeting their favourite cartoon character, Peppa Pig, in
the world's biggest theme park situated in London, Paultons Park. They can have fun enjoying
amazing attractive rides like Windy Castle Ride, Peppa’s Big Balloon Ride, Daddy Pig's Car
Ride, etc. individual can explore the theme park with family and friends and capture awesome
shots with characters like African animals, dinosaurs, or schoolhouses. In this theme park, there
are lots of things which kids can enjoy as there are various cartoon character who play with them
and provide them with different kinds of goodies and gifts. Nowadays the kids enjoy watching
the peppa pig cartoon so in that theme park, kids enjoy the foods with the peppa pig character.
Individual must visit this theme park because in this the individual can enjoy different rides and
games with the peppa pig character.
Windsor Castle
Windsor Castle, the historic royal residence in London which is a popular tourist
destination and the Queen of England's favourite weekend retreat. Here the individual can see St.
George's Chapel, the State Apartments, and the Royal Collection. If the individual visit in the
morning, they will be able to see the magnificent Changing of the Guard ritual. To observe this it

can be one of the memorable thing to the individual as it provides peace. It is also considered as
one of the holy destination of London where individual can feel peace and comfortable. The
individual must visit this place in order to review the culture and tradition people follow there.
CONCLUSION
It could be concluded that there are a lot of places to visit around the world. There is a
kind of suggestion provided to a visitor who is going to visit a place in a country. The visitor
should stay in Hotel Premium Inn, a very good place to stay in London which is a bit costly but
the visitor will experience a luxurious and relaxed environment. The food facilities are also
available in that hotel. The suggested place is London in UK and there a lot of attractions in
London for the visitor to visit. The visitor should visit the place named Harry Potter studio as
from there the person will got the knowledge about how the film was made and there are a lot of
attractive things which could be captured. The London Tower is also one from many of
attractions in London, the place should be visit by the visitor. Buckingham is a famous historical
palace in London where there are a lot of things a visitor could make a collection of which such
as: pics, videos, the story about the palace, the famous food in that palace and others.

Self Evaluation
What were the problems I faced when finding the research for this project?
During pursuing this project, I faced various problems. Following are some among them
Very time consuming While doing this project I observed that it was taking long time to
complete the project. As in this project I need to research on the certain topics in depth. This
topic was new for me and therefore I had to put so much efforts in this research project. This
project was a kind of a bit tough task for me as it takes lot of time to complete and in this
research project I have to find out the places and right informations about that places. Lack of
accurate resources The absence of reliable sources from which I can learn more about the
project, unavailability of resources was another obstacle I encountered while working on this
research activity. Additionally, the resources I needed for this project were insufficient to locate
reliable sources. This presented a challenge because I did not want to be involved in fictitious
and rumours about such a esteemed subject and present information in this report about which I
am not confident(Gregg and Sedikides, 2018).
Tough to make relevant choices of place: In this research project the chosen topic was a
visitor who is going to visit in my country. It is a bit tough thing to make suggestion to anyone as
we firstly have to know their preferences. As it is known that there are a lot of attractions in my
country that is UK, it was tough for me to select on a place and only for a single day. I got
confused and then choose London to visit the place. Then the most tough thing is to choose a
place to stay as everyone wants a good place but in reasonable price. Then I got confused that
what are some of the top places where he should visit as he is only visiting for a single day. Not
having a personal experience: Since, I never visited the London, I don't have any personal
experience about which place is good to stay and visit for a single day in London. There are a lot
of confusions which occurred at the time of choosing city, then place to stay and visit in London
which resulted a bit delay in the completion and submission of the project.
What did I enjoy about this project?
Doing this project was very interesting, enjoyable and exiting for me as there are a lot of
things to do and a lot of new things to learn. Following are major things which I enjoyed a lot:
Interesting topic I thought the topic of suggesting places to a visitor in self country was very
interesting because firstly I am searching for the places and getting the knowledge about my

country and secondly I am providing the best knowledge to someone which is the praise for my
country(Gregg and Sedikides, 2018). Surveying other people: Another attracting thing I had
done in this project that I have conduct a survey to other people's about the place in UK and in
London. As it is obvious I don't have the knowledge about each and every place in my country. I
asked to my friends, family, relatives and neighbours about the suggestions of places where a
foreigner should visit in our country.
Gaining important knowledge Through this project I got many benefits also, I get to
learn about many things from this project. I gain knowledge about my country the attractions
there, the places where to visit and a lot of things while doing the project such as how to collect
information and many others.
Identification of the lessons learnt and highlights of the areas for the potential
improvement.
Lessons learnt
I learnt a lot of new and interesting things from this project. Following are major among
them:
There is a lot to unfold From this research project I have learnt an important lesson about my
country UK. I have learned that there are a lot of places to visit in my country which are of much
importance and of different historical background. Even I also suggest to my relatives of known
one to visit places in our country which are attractive. I also make plan to visit with my family to
the places to enjoy in my vacations. There is lot of needed information left: Even though I spent
so much time on the project, there were still a lot of important information about the places
which I could recommend to the visitor to visit. There may be some more attractive place,
shopping centres which I think I could much more better suggest the visitor to visit. Keeping the
environment better: Through this project I became aware about keeping environment clean and
gained lots of knowledge from this, which I wasn't aware about. Due to the manual vehicles, an
environmental issues were created which was not noticeable by me prior this report but as of
now after research I get to know the environmental issues(AZARENKOVA, 2020).
Areas for the improvement
As I have noticed, following are the areas in which I need to do improvement for the
betterment of my project:

Better planning: There are numerous areas for improvement, but the most significant is that the
project required more planning than I did to complete. I could have completed it in a shorter
amount of time if I had taken a different approach, but my lack of planning became a problem, so
this is an area in which I need to improve. Finding more elaborate resources: An other part for
improvement is to not depend on the fake sources. After completing my project I had analysed
that this is the part where I have to enhance my skills in order to identify the confidential,
reliable and better content.
