INTRODUCTION
Academic writing is a style of writing used in colleges, schools and universities.
Descriptive academic writing main purpose is to provide information for example a conclusion
of a report or summary. There are various types of academic writing styles such as essay,
research, book review and others. The present report will provide detailed information about
features of academic writing and its importance. Further, the study will provide importance of
academic writing skills in professionalism and analytical thinking.

The main purpose of academic writing is to provide research and explain some idea and
