3ExecutiveSummaryThe currentdissertationwould focus on thefinancial analysisoftheretailinvestors so as toinvestigatethestrategiesinmarketandalsotheprofitgeneratedby SainsburyinUK.Thiswouldhelpinfindingouthowitcouldbegoodchoiceforshareholdersorinvestorstomakeinvestments. Sainsburyisthesecondlargestchainofsupermarketsanditisforthisreasonthatithasbeenchosenasthecasestudyforthisresearch.Thecompany hadalsobeensuccessfulinacquiring thecompany Argosandthishasbeenoneoftheprimereasonsfortheinvestorstobeflowinginandreadytoinvestinthiscompany.Thetopicwouldstartwith a introductory portionwhere the mainpurpose or significanceof theresearchwouldbe illustratedalongwiththehypothesis,questionsaroseandalsotheobjectivesoftheresearch. The secondchapterwouldprovide aliteraturereviewdemonstrating thevariousbusiness models,factorsaffectingdecisionsofinvestors,opportunitiesandthreatsalongwiththe acquisitionof Argos.Itwouldalsopresenta conceptual frameworkabouthow thevarious aspectsofthe researchhadbeeninterrelated. The thirdchapter,whichistheresearch methodology,wouldconsistof the variousdesign,methodsandresearchphilosophies,the waysofcollectingandanalysingdataalongwiththevalidity oftheresearchwouldbe included.Thefourthchapter wouldpresentthe analysisofthequalitativeandquantitative datawithvariouscharts,diagrams,tablesandgraphsderivedfromsecondary sources.The lastchapterwouldprovideaconclusionalong withfewrecommendationsfortheinvestors totakethedecisionofconsideringinvestmentsopportunitiesintheretailindustry.Finally, areflectivereportwouldbeshownaswellwhichcouldhelptounderstand howtheresearch topiccouldbehelpfulformeandalsohowthe improvementofskillsandknowledge developmentcouldbeensured.
