a) Plagiarism refers to the copying work of another person or borrowing the ideas of someone
else's original(Jjuuko, Njuguna and Shafer 2018). The term, to "plagiarize" means:

 to utilize someone’s else’s production without giving the credit to the source
ï‚· it is a process of committing crime known as literary theft
ï‚· To represent an existing work done by another person as a new and original one.
In simpler terms, plagiarism is the fraudulent act. that involves stealing the work of someone
else and afterward lying about it. As per the law of U.S., a criminal act expresses the original
ideas of another person. One’s ideas are considered as an intellectual property and are protected
by copyright laws, similar to inventions that are original. All forms of expression fall under
copyright protection as long as they are recorded.
It is a major issue for Students because in their assignments they are required to make each of
them free from plagiarism. The assignments carries marks and they might also failed if the
submitted work is found plagiarised.
b) The reference that has a in-text citation that is made within the body of text of an assignment
or an academic essay. The in-text citation makes the reader alert to a source that has been
informed in the writing (Lewis 2015). It denotes the name of the author along with the date or in

desk from the website and obtain resources for the assignment. This would enable to obtain
knowledge and save time (W. Done, 2018).

a) In the survey in the university library that Fred fantastic is conducting is about the
preparation of the questionnaire as to as to find out the reason and the number of times the
students go to the library. In the first part that deals with the number of time the students visit the
library has covered the parts that refers to the students who visit the library often , who visits
once in a month, who visits rarely , the students who has not visited yet and the number of
students who has not visited at all. Therefore, the students have covered all the points that would
help him to conduct the research. No changes are to be made and the research can be a successful
one.
b) In the second question of the survey, Fred while conducting the research has to find out
the reason for the students to visit the library. He has covered the points that refers to the
students who goes to buy the online catalogue, for meetings, to buy and return books and other
reasons. The main point that has been ignored by Fred is about the student who visits the library
