Martine, the CEO visited the medical experts in order to figure out the consequences
of the kind of work that was to be done, she found out that the task could result in
blindness within 18 months of the initiation of work. The task was harmful to the
human eye. Despite the fact, if she went ahead with the plan on getting things done
in the areas in Indian Ocean where people do not have Health and Safety Regulations
and cheaper labour as well, this might lead to harm to the people on the international
level. She would be breaking many international laws, ethically and legally. In fact she
would be affecting the lives of so many people at once and putting them at stake.

Analyze - The
Actions In situation where the decision in support with the breach of international Health and
Safety regulations is taken, this will lead the incidence to be an international crime.
The situation then shall inflict negatively upon the organization’s goodwill in the
market. Several criminal and ethical laws will be broken or violated for that matter. In
fact various domestic actions will also be taken as many violations in the local areas
will also be made and not just in the criminal aspect but also professional and civil
aspect as well. When domestic laws or regulations like, The Code of Professional
Conduct are violated, required actions will be taken by the governmental
organizations like the ACS or the Australian Computer Society regarding the violation
of professional codes. It shall be considered as a professional negligence on various
levels.
