INTRODUCTION

English Legal System Structure

proper manner. These organs are parliament, judiciary and executive they have been given power
and separation power doctrine which is applicable withín UK. Legislative has been given power
to form all laws and legislation, executive make sure that they are being executed in proper
manner and judiciary has been given power to safeguard constitutional fundamental rights
romanting legal integrity. These organs has been formed in order to make sure that legal process

In United Kingdom hierarchy of court is been followed which has given jurisdictional power to
them in relation to territory and monetary terms. Supreme Court is price Court of appeal within
UK and handles all cases of Civil and criminal nature. Then come High Court is also known as
Court of appeal and is bound to deal with various elements of n appeal. High Court have three
divisions which are queens Court in relation to criminal matters, chancellery division in relation
to Civil matters and family division in relation to matters related to marriage. Then comes lower
court which are also known as Court of first instance. Due to their handling of the case for the
very first time. Lower courts consist of county courts and magistrate courts. It also includes
