Brief description of department / organization: Established in the year 1976, Apple
Corporation is one of the biggest multinational technology company which was established in
California. There are diverse categories of services which are provided by this commercial
establishment such as computer hardware, cloud computing services, financial technologies,
and AI devices (Apple, 2020). This public sector organization has more than 500 retail stores
all over the world and the net revenue of this organization was USD$265.5 after the end of the
calendar year 2018. Apple aims to bring the best use experience for each and every customer.
Re-invention of mobile devices is one of the prime visions of this global MNC.

1. Consistency of Purpose Understanding the needs and expectations of the
consumers is one the prime strategic objectives of
Apple Corporation to introduce new services for
the consumers (Agrawal 2019). The presence of
social media discussion forums helps Apple to
maintain consistency.

2. Adopt a new philosophy A frame picture of the desire is created by the
strategic planners of this commercial
establishment; this procedure is very much
beneficial for the adoption of a new business
philosophy.
3. Dependence on mass inspections The brand strategy of Apple is very much on the
high side and the selection of the services
depends hugely on the necessities of the tease
audience. The mass inspection process of Apple
is supplier responsibility which requires
assistance of each of the subsidiary organizations
of Apple as well (McLaughlin and Bridgman,
2017). The mass inspection procedure is very
much useful for the identification of innovative
products and services.
4. Awarding business on the basis of
price tag alone
Considering the price tag which is maintained by
Apple it can be said that generation of wastes
have reduced in this commercial establishment.

5. Improve constantly and forever There are diverse categories of self-assessment
procedures which are conducted by the strategic
team of this organization keeping in mind of the
expectation of the consumers (Olson 2018). The
consumer feedback form of this commercial
establishment is also very much useful to identify
the continuous improvement procedure required
in the production and the operations room.
6. Training on the job
The internal training session of Apple is very
much useful for the employees to enhance their
expertise. Business culture is also maintained in
the first place with the help of the on job training
sessions. Optimization of human resources and
enhancement of the organization culture are the
other major contributions. The performance of the
resources enhanced after these training sessions.
The consumer expectations are also maintained
with the help of these on jobs training sessions as
well.

7. Leadership Apple developed situational awareness in order to
improve the leadership skills of the organizational
leaders (Olson 2018). Numerous conflicts in the
operation as well as the production rooms are
addressed using the leadership skills. The concept
of discerning listener is also very much useful for
the enhancement of the leadership skills of the
organizational leaders.
8. Drive out fear A well-organized corporate establishment is
established in Apple Corporation as a result each
of the human resources works without any sort of
fear or anxiety. There is a change management
policy for the resources to address the
complications they faces when ate made to work
in complicated projects.

9. Break down barriers The business barriers of Apple such as the
management of the unit sales predictions are
addressed with the help of both the strategic
planners as well as the customer engagement
policy of this corporation. Community
engagement is the other way by which this
organization deals with the business barriers.
10. Eliminate slogans One of the most popular slogans of this
organization is “Think Different” which became
very much popular in the late 90s. These slogans
are very much useful for the organizational
growth of Apple.

Substitute leadership
Supplier Code of Conduct is maintained by Apple
Corporation to improve the work standards of the
resources. The code of conduct maintained by
Apple is also very much useful to deal with the
legal complications of the labor and human rights
of each of the resources (Ng et al. 2018). High
standards of social responsibility are also
maintained in this organization for enhancing the
work standards.

12. Remove barriers that rob workers
of their right to pride in the
quality of their work.
Apple does not support ant micro management,
at the same time it can also be said that the
business process of Apple is very much
transparent and can be understood by each
resources working in this business. There are no
real housekeeping issues for the employees of
this organization which helps them to enhance
their productivity.
13. Vigorous program of education
and self-improvement
The Human Resource department of this
organization has self-development programs for
each employee working in this organization; these
programs are very much useful to address the
physical, intellectual, social and emotional issues
which are faced by them.

14. Transformation is everybody’s
job.
The organizational leaders of Apple are very
much helpful for the accomplishment of the
transformations, and as a result of these
transformations this organization has successfully
created new and innovative services for their
consumers.
What do you believe are the 1 or 2 most important and immediate actions your department /
organization should take to improve overall quality?
The overall quality of the business operations of Apple can be enhanced using the quality
improvement plan (Alghamdi 2016). Secondly it can be said that the selection of a solid
product strategy is very much useful for improving the overall quality of the creation of a new
product.
