GRANT APPLICATION OF ADACHI TO NDIA
Disability is a physical or mental condition which bound individuals to live their life like
normal people. It directly leaves impact upon senses, activities and movements of the person
who is dealing with it. This problem is increasing continuously and the number of people who
are affected from disability is also inclining. Some specific examples of the disabilities are
acquired brain injury, physical disability, autism spectrum disorder, vision impairment, mental
health conditions etc. In order to deal with such types of problems various organisations are
taking initiative and providing disability services to the individuals. ADACHI Disability Services
is one of the companies which is helping disable people to live their life in appropriate manner.
Different daily care and assistance services are delivered by us to the individuals who are not
able to handle their daily routine activities by themselves.
In order to run the organisation in systemic manner we require funding and for this
purpose we have applied for the Grant from NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency). The
amount of grant is around $600000 which will be used by us to provide care to the individuals
who are having different types of disabilities which are affecting their daily life. It is one of the
major issue which is emerging in the community and we are the one who have formed plan to
help people to deal with it. For this purpose we require funding so that all the plans which are
formulated by us could be executed successfully. If the grant is being provided by NDIA to us
then we will be able to deliver the care and assistance services in different areas. All the care
services which are delivered by us are provided according to requirements of our client. For
example, if they need daily or weekly assistance our staff members will definitely provide
special services which could be trusted by them. We put people's need first as we understand that
they are dealing with life challenges due to their disability. All the staff members who are
rendering services to clients are experienced and they focus on proper meal preparation,
cleaning, hygiene and other factors. The plan which is prepared by us for our clients is formed by
analysing all their specific needs.
As there is a high requirement of registration from Office of the Registrar of Indigenous
Corporation and we are having the registration certificate which is fulfilling all the requirements
of the grant application. We also have an Australian Business Number which is related to the our
organisation. According to Australian Tax Office we are also registered for GST which is paid

by us on the income which is generated from business by us on yearly basis. We are also having
an account with Australian Financial Institution and have a public liability insurance coverage.
All the information which is required by NDIA for the grant application is being provided
by us and we have also completed the online application form. We are registered as an
Australian Public Company which is delivering care and assistance services to the individuals
who are dealing with disability issues. All the necessary attachments which are required for the
grant are also provided by us to NDIA. If the amount of $600000 is granted to us then we assure
that this amount will be utilised by us in appropriate manner and we will make sure that all the
individuals get proper services all around Australia. The attached documents are Certification of
the registration of the company, Code of conduct, Record of registration of business name, Final
DSPP record of registration, Insurance Quotation and final tender after filling the application
form.
As highly qualified, skilled and grant line staff members are required to attain the grant
therefore this criteria is also met by us. We conduct verification of all the employees who are
working with us which includes police check, background check etc. All the specific staff
development and training requirements for the grant are also met by us. For example, 3 month
probationary review, on the job training, performance review and improvement plan are
considered by us while recruiting care providers for the business.
There are Some specific standards such as National Standard for Disability Services
which are focused by ADACHI while delivering care to the clients. National Standards for
Disability services Toolkit is also used by all our care providers while they are handling disable
people at their homes or other place where they require them. Sometimes when care agents
provide services to the clients then some serious incidents may take place in this situation
Incident Reporting Electronic system is also used by us so that we can perform our liability
towards the individuals.
We are also following all the legislation which are required for a company which is
rendering care and assistance services to disable people. Some of them which are highly focused
by us are Western Australia National Standards for Disability, The Equal Opportunity Act, 1984,
The Disability Services Amendment Act, 2004 and The Disability Services Act, 1993. Along
with this, Disability Services Act 1986 and Discrimination Act 1992 are also focused by us so
that we can deliver all the care services under legal implications.

In order to monitor data of ADACHI specific Audit schedule is being formulated by us
which helps to audit all the information to determine that operations are executed according to
legal requirements. Different policies of WHO are also focused by us as it helps us to provide
best care to the clients who have hired care provider from ADACHI. For the purpose of financial
management appropriate policies and procedures are followed by us. Along with this, specific
risk management procedures are also focused by us. We have an account who is having
experience with disability service who handle all the accounting related tasks at workplace. All
the employees who are working within the organisation have experience in financial
management experience.
There are some specific areas which are considered by us for the purpose of continuous
improvement. These are monitoring feedback, learning and reflection processes. With the help of
them ADACHI focus on privacy, confidentiality, right of clients, policies regarding
responsibilities, Compliment's policy etc. In order to provide appropriate information of business
to NDIS we have formed clear Vision, Mission and values which are consistent with
contemporary practices.
In order to maintain and strengthen organisational capabilities we have specific systems
which support us to achieve individual goals. Person centred approached is used which includes
involvement of individuals who are dealing with problem of disability, families, carers,
advocates, friends who may review policies, service provision and procedures. Some of the
elements which are considered by us while formulating policies are consumer consultation, Staff
meeting minutes, feedback review, assessments, home meeting minutes etc.
Main purpose of us for getting grant is to provide care and assistance to all the
individuals who require. Due to continuous increment in disability among people most of the
persons are not able to live a normal life. Our mission is to help them to live a life in which they
can experience all the events which are experienced by normal people. In order to reach the
mission we and various care agents of us are working for such types of individuals and
delivering them care and assistance services. For the effective execution of all the long term
plans we require funding so that we can deliver services all around Australia and help disable
people to live their life happily.
The grant which will be provided by NDIA to us will be used by the organisation to
deliver care services to the individuals who are dealing with disability. With the help of it

community will be able to deal with the problem of disability which is affecting most of the
individuals in Australia. It will be beneficial for us because we will have sufficient funding to
operate all the long term plan of organisation to facilitating disable individuals to reduce
challenges in their daily life. The grant will be utilised by us to send out care agents in different
areas of Australia to help all the disable people to reduce physical or mental complexities from
their life. The care agents will be able to provide assistance to individuals with disabilities to eat,
bath and walk properly if ADACHI will have sufficient funds to send them to the homes of such
people.
Project Plan
Project Summary:
To provide training to individuals having disability problems for building their capacity,
ADACHI is going to grand for funds to National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).
Project Scope:
Getting sufficient funds will help ADACHI in providing appropriate training to disable people,
so that they can work more efficiently in an organisation, as well as it will help in reducing their
stress level and mental capacities also to live a normal life like ordinary ones.
 Need: ADACHI requires the support of NDIA in terms of sufficient funds, for organising
training programs for disable people of Australia.
 Project Activities: For capacity building, different types of training will be provided to
disabled as per their wants. It includes Leadership training for staff or board members of
an organisation, delivering strategies for strengthening the involvement of disabled
people, their family members and care takers. For this purpose, more employment will be
provided to such people so that they can work more efficiently with board or committee
members within an organisation. Activities will be run in some companies also, where
disabled people are also working, to bring collaboration and feeling of partnership among
workers.
Administration:
 Personnel: A new social enterprise or a business case will be developed for revenue
generating services that lead towards financial independence.
 Schedule: Activities will provide on weekly basis to people (disabled), that will take near
about thirty to forty five days for building their capacities.

Budget: The amount of grant is around $600000 which will be used to provide care to the
individuals who are having different types of disabilities which are affecting their daily life.
