The practice of an education where there is engagement of adults in a sustained and
systematic way is known as Adult Education. It is very distinct from the concept of child
education. It contains self-educating pursuits for gaining new forms of skills, knowledge,
values or attitudes. It might mean any kind of engagement for adult learning that is beyond
the system of traditional learning where literacy is encompassed to a feeling of personal
fulfillment as lifelong experience of learning (Illeris, 2018.) However, planning an
educational program happens to be an ongoing and complex process where it is important for
the planners to consider all the important factors, people and contexts. This paper aims at
designing an adult education learning program and discussing all the measures relevant for
arranging the program.

Some of the methods that can be incorporated to evaluate effectiveness of this program
are as follows:
Monitoring national research: Monitoring the existing national research will enable
two activities. One is it will help the organization to identify the existing requirements
of population and accordingly develop activities. The second is it will allow
organizations identifying gaps and further commission the research accordingly.
Pilot programs and use of pre-testing: Before organizing a program, it is very
important identifying the appropriate tools and channels. To ensure the optimal for
target audience, pre-testing will be done and certain adaptations would be made
according to feedback (Darling-Hammond, Hyler & Gardener, 2017.)
Supporting external evaluations with internal monitoring: Apart from the formal
structure of evaluating program, regular measures would be taken for changing the
process and required policies to support all the evaluations done internally and
