Introduction
Purpose of my research, its value, and contribution to the academic body
Purpose of research
The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of network marketing in reducing women
employment in case of Oriflame cosmetic Nigeria.
Value of research
In the existing scenario, an individual feels very attentive in the context of network marketing.
There are wider liberated areas that provide different opportunities to individuals. The network
organization does not provide some basic facilities such as desk, time boundaries, and security
that decline the women employment. In addition, income is generated by making link with
associates. The high amount of benefits provided by network marketing to employees at the
globe level but at the same time, this kind of marketing is challenging for women employees due
to dealing with stranger clients. Thus, it could affect to the women employment in Nigeria. In
Oriflame cosmetics Nigeria, women employment is reducing because they do not have sufficient
time to convince others to join business hence the company is focusing on recruitment of male
candidate in network marketing (Mahfooz, and Mahfooz, 2014).
Contribution to the academic body
This research is contributed in an academic context in terms of comprehending the impact of
network marketing in reducing women employment in case of Oriflame cosmetic Nigeria. It
would also contribute to the academic body to understand the causes of reducing women
employment in network marketing.
Aims and objectives of my research

The aim of this research is to address the impact of network marketing in reducing women
employment in case of Oriflame cosmetic Nigeria. Moreover, another aim of this research is to
address the causes of women employment in the context of Oriflame cosmetic Nigeria. The
following objectives would be used to complete the aims of this research:
R01: To explore the conceptual understanding regarding network marketing in the context of
Oriflame cosmetic Nigerian company
RO2: To address the causes of reducing women employment in network marketing in the context
of Oriflame cosmetic Nigerian company
RO3: To recommend the strategy to improve the women employment in network marketing in
the context of Oriflame cosmetic Nigerian company
Recent literatures
As per the view of Fejdiova (2018), network marketing is regarded as multi-level marketing. It is
a system that could be used to sell the products and services by a network of distributors. But,
some practitioners give preference to use more generic term i.e. direct selling via network
marketing that is a kind of direct selling. This strategy is effective to attract huge number of
people in the society because it offers the added value in products and services. It could
influence to the overall research outcome. Apart from this, the technology and information
system plays an evident role in network marketing. For example, an individual does not have
need to physically sell the products, however, they can utilize the internet such as social media in
the context of network marketing.
In contrast to this, Yeo Lee and Carter (2018) evaluated that network marketing is a new aspect
for marketing the products of Oriflame cosmetic Nigeria (producing household products,
nutritional products as well as personal care). In addition, network strategy facilitates to an
