Q1Ans:
The Kimberly-Clark Australia shares many key forms of knowledge to different business and
to the customers. The key forms of knowledge are product information to the patents of
different countries and licence information about the goods. Innovative ideas for product and
processes, information about the supply chain and knowledge information. Also KCA
provides information to the businesses about their competitors, markets, customers and their
environment preferences. The information about the communal and neighbourhood issues are
also provided to businesses. The CRM sales information is provided along with the data for
sales, share for markets, preferences for client and forecasting of company data is provided to
the company (Hislop, Bosua and Helms 2018). The corporate knowledge that consists of the
management information knowledge, Human resource information, financial information and
other relevant information are provided to the companies by KCA.
Q2Ans:
The benchmarking process of KCA has the following elements.
1. All of the KCC plants spread around the world need to access the consolidated database
which contains equipment information those are operated by plants. This process helped
KCA for benchmarking the manufacturing functions which are against the comparable plants.
2. The process of common presentation has been urbanized by the main office of KCC for
ensuring the data compilation is standard and the reporting mechanisms for individual plants
are appropriate. The key method of competence and presentation are applied by KCA which
is reduction of waste, delay and increment of speed.

3. The performance data is entered by individual plants by using the key method and a
periodical feedback report is generated about the performance of the plant. Identification of
report is performed for improvement of certain areas.
4. The improvement measures of performance are given through certain operations in the
groups that are working worldwide and the measures are given through the operations
manager working all over the world.
5. The working groups in the KCC are constantly keeping contact to each other through
emails and phones for accumulating knowledge through all over the world.
Q3Ans:
KCA constantly needs to create and share knowledge in order to maintain the reputation of
KCA as one of the leading company in the world. Also maintaining strong relationship with
the customers, leveraging the process of manufacture are also KCA’s priorities.
Q4Ans:
The KCA syndicate teams has the all of the employees working in various divisions of
Australia and in the sites of the organization. The syndicate team assist organizations for
development of knowledge and the professional practices are shared with them. Every team
of syndicates are given a particular work problem which is concerned about the organization.
The problems are dealt by hands and solutions are developed that has the practical application
towards the KCA.
The syndicate teams have several benefits like
1) The solutions provided by the team for the problems of organization are practically
implementable.

4) The participative approach is taken for solving the problems to understand the decision
implications to get a bigger picture of the KCA.

The key strengths of the system are
1) The system contributed to efficiently supervise the KCA’s widespread knowledge. This
definitely contributed towards the success of the company.
2) The system enhanced the knowledge development and information spread across the
globe. This helped the sales and marketing professionals in the KCA to increase the sales.
3) The system also increased the turnover of the employees as they are always focused in
their jobs by knowledge system of the organization like a motivational tool.
The key weaknesses of the system are
1) Although the system is effective but it is much complicated and initially takes lot of the
time to understand the whole for the new joiners in the organization.
2) Due to complexity of the system much training and large investment is required to
maintain effectiveness within the system.
