1. System scalability: As per the study done on the ERP system, it can be stated that ERP is
scalable when a cloud-based solution is chosen. Cloud-based ERP system is influenced by cloud
computing (Kulkarni et al. 2015). It is provided through a model called Software as a Service
(SaaS). The application of the software is delivered to multiple users over the internet and also
the user can access the browser over the internet. At the user side, it does not need any
installation or configuration of the system. The vendor’s server hosts this option and accessed it
through the browsers. The growth is accommodated and it reduces the internal need of the IT.
One of the popular cloud ERP software market is the SAP business ByDesign which the ABC
ABC Pvt. Ltd can implement for their organization.
2. Enhancement of the system: To enhance the ERP system scalability, it should have
certain capabilities:
The management of the account should be effective. With the use of Cloud-based ERP system,
there would be a drastic increase in the accounts handling. It will become a challenge, if the data
entries are limit, or no real-time updates or if user cannot access to the system.
The information should be updated or else the growth of the company may compromise. With
the use of scalable Cloud-based ERP system a real-time report is produce and often the company
should keep the business updated (Gupta et al. 2017).
The Cloud-based ERP system should be accessible to any platform. This will improve the
scalability and provide flexibility and mobility of the system in the devices for the employee and
owner of the organization.
