Part 1: Information collection
The project is mainly focussed on developing a new network design for the hotel “Barranquilla
Plaza”. It is found that before properly designing the network system for meeting the client’s
requirement, it is very much necessary to properly determine various types of issues which are mainly
faced by the hotel due to the existence of the current network system. Thus, proper information
collection is needed in context to the various staffs, management as well as for the users. The various
project stakeholders are given the opportunity so that they can give their perspective or thoughts on the
challenges that the hotel is presently facing due to the use of the current network system. In addition to
this, it is analyzed some of the significant as well as important questions are generally discussed with the
for knowing the major reason behind the cause as well as occurrences of the issues which is currently
faced by the hotel. The questionnaires that are mainly created for the for determining the various issues
are mainly distributed to both the internal as well as external project stakeholders. By collecting
opinions from the staffs, team members as well as management, issue behind the present network
system will generally be identified.

 What type of internet plan is used for different internet facility by the organizations?
 Does proper control is present on the security application of the network plan in context to the
hotel?
 How the department of the hotel is generally divided for the needed bandwidth?
 Does any of the department of the hotel is present which generally needs proper bandwidth and
does any type of change with the project scope for giving proper as well as effective facility
generally differs from the various departments of the hotel?

 How many users are generally linked with the network and how many of the users or clients
requires server-based facility within the network?
 Does the entire solution of the network that is generally considered for the entire organization is
generally upgraded what is the age of the entire network infrastructure?
 What are the different types of security challenges which is mainly determined in the entire
network and how the entire security-based breaches like proper occurrence of the incident?
 Does it is quite important to properly monitor the network which is generally preferred?

 Does proper signal is provided with the help of the router that is generally used by the network
system or it mainly required improvements?
 Does for conducing various types of services that are dependent on good internet connection,
the Wi-Fi speed that is mainly provided is generally acceptable?
 How the quality of the videos gets reduced or get destroyed and does it generally occur very
much frequently?
 Does a number of problems generally occur while downloading the solution from online
content?
 What is the speed when the transfer of the file generally occurs wirelessly and what steps are
generally needed to be undertaken in order to improve the speed?
 Do the network from which the file is downloaded gets reflected after downloading gets
completed?
 Does the equipment in context to network that are used are of latest edition and how the
utilization of the various software is required for the successful management of the entire
network?
 Does the possibility of file sharing occur with proper network such that the facility that is
generally present is considered to be reliable?
Questionnaire purpose
When it is generally needed to properly redesign the entire network system for the entire
organization as it is mainly found as one of the procedure that is quite complex and which further needs
information from the various network users in order to give proper insights about the different types of
challenges which generally gets pervade over the entire overview for making the various types of
modifications that are generally needed in order to achieve the benefits from the entire organization.
Therefore, it is generally analyzed that proper questionnaires that are mainly designed that further aims
to provide proper description in context to different aspects as well as challenges which are generally
associated with the entire network. In addition to this, it is analyzed that it further assist in giving proper
information which generally needs appropriate improvement about the different types of features

which are generally considered to be best for the entire designing of the network such that the various
types of changes within the entire network will generally get done for successfully achieving the various
requirements as well as business needs.
Verification and Validation
The entire network design that is generally developed should be successfully analysed that assist
in deriving proper design-based features such that the design of the entire network generally assists in
properly designing the network with the help of proper and effective applications. It is found that in
order to undertake such type of activities, it is generally necessary to properly develop the entire
application related profile that further helps in giving proper help in order to share the VLAN dependent
information within the various devices which further helps in properly determining the various types of
challenges that are mainly linked with the networking discovers such that proper improvement is
generally seen within the performance of the entire network.
Part II: Network design and documentation
It is found that in order to successfully design the entire network in order to provide proper
network-based solution such that it becomes very much necessary for successfully analyzing the various
types of network-based issues and challenges which are generally needed before the development of
the entire plan that is mainly developed quite successfully. It is identified that the entire plan which is
generally made should be properly studied for ensuring that proper as well as successful installation of
the new network-based service as per the design that is mainly created for the new network. Effective
analysis as well as plan that is generally developed must be properly studies that generally assist in
giving proper detailed guidance inn order to make proper decision that there are a lot of access points
which are generally designed in a way that appropriate coverage on the entire network is generally
provided.
It is found that proper communication with the various stakeholders generally linked with the
various project stakeholders in order to collect different types of information which are mainly
associated with the entire procedure of implementation so that effective steps will be undertaken in
order to mitigate the various types of challenges and risks which are mainly related with the project.
Moreover, it is analyzed that proper estimation of the cable length is required for making sure that the
procedure of installation based on the different access point assists in providing effective facility to the
entire network with the help of different types of wireless connection. This further helps in suggesting

that proper estimation of the project budget is generally considered to be quite effective for successful
redesigning of the entire network quite effectively.
The entire design that is generally developed for the entire project are considered to be
beneficial for the improvement of the entire business procedures.
