The paper is focused in the elaboration of the advantages and disadvantages of the
purchasing method along with the specification regarding the mode of the communication
with the relevant stakeholders. The paper also assesses the nature and the level of the
resources that are required for the organization to achieve the business objectives and along
with that the paper provides a plan for the allocation of the resources in order to maximise the
efficiency along with minimize the risks. Apart from this, the procedure for the
implementation of the plan with a precise focus on the efficient usage of the resources and the
monitoring of the budgets for them is portrayed in the paper. The success factors for the plan
is also formed for the effective understanding of the achievement of the various aspects of the
plan. The chosen organization for the paper is Zume Pizza.
Discussion:
The views of the company regarding the disadvantages or advantages of the
purchasing methods is seen to be pretty evident. The organization operates through the
contract purchasing for the wide range of materials that it sources from the suppliers for the
production of the pizza and the salads (Zumepizza.com, 2019). It is seen that the organization
is notably focused in the mentioned form of purchasing due to the reasons such as the formal
delivery of the products, on time delivery, accurate delivery in terms of the quantity and
appropriate delivery of the products in terms of the quality (Feng et al., 2014). However it is
seen that many of the other purchasing methods are not followed by the organization for the
fact that the creation of uncertainty in the market through the market purchasing is not the
appropriate option for the company. Along with that, purchasing by requirement will be
difficult as the organization is seen to face notable amount of difficulty in measuring the total
requirements. Adding to this, the scheduled purchasing is also not a viable option as the
organization is not that effective in calculating the demand in a country like Australia where
the demand of the customers for the pizzas is rapidly increasing. Apart from this, it is seen

that the organisation chose the mentioned purchasing strategy to make sure that they be
immune to the varying and increasing price rates of the market for the sourcing of the
products in near future.
The consultation with the relevant stakeholders is in need to be conducted through a
wide range of methods. The consultation with the shareholders of the organization is in need
to be conducted through the formal business reports. On the other hand, the consultation with
the employees is in need to be conducted through group meetings and the sessions. In
addition to this, the consultation with the suppliers of the organization is in need to be
conducted through the formal mails in order to make sure that the communications is speedy
enough to acknowledge the urgency of the quick supply. Along with that, the customers of
the organization are in need to be consulted through the websites and the increasing
marketing communication to make sure that they be well aware of the new products and the
services of the organization and the modification in the previous operations.
The determination of the nature and the level of the resources that are required for the
achievement of the business objectives, is in need to be carried out through the effective
consultation with the operators and the line managers of the organization. As it is pretty
evident that the effective communication regarding the business objectives of the
organization is achieved, the consultation with the managers for the required resources and
the nature of the required resources will be significantly important and effective as well as
they are concerned persons to have the best idea of the required resources that will be
sufficient to achieve the objectives of the organization.
