INTRODUCTIONIT system have emerged as one of the greatest tool for the industries as it havecontributed in the rapid growth and development of the organisations. Introduction of various ITsolutions have also increased the operational efficiency of the staff members as it haveprovisioned various tools that provides automated work and it has also ease the complicatedtasks of the firms. This study will help in analysing the functions and use of establishing the ITsystem in the Volkswagan. It will also help in providing solutions which can be derived from theIT System in order to achieve the the main objectives of the organisations. The report will alsoconcentrate towards identifying the different ways of IT system in processing and storing thedata in order to manage the data efficiently. The research will also create an understanding aboutimplementing the system that support value added change.TASK 11.1 Use of IT system in different functions of the organisationThe IT system maintains the computerised information system that help to process thedata efficiently and effectively within the organisation. This IT based system also helps inproducing the useful and timely information which helps in improving the communicationinfrastructure of the Volkswagan for adopting automated functions within the firm. This alsohelps in managing the hardware, software and networking requirements of the Volkswagan.Being the Trainee IT manager in consultancy firm, one have to retrain the employees about useof advanced technology in order to improve the working efficiency of the staff members withinthe organisations (Carter, Carter and Pylkkanen,2018). Various functions of organisations aredescribed below that uses the IT system in order to improve the performance of the Volkswagan.Appropriate implementation of the IT system within the organisation will also contribute towardsthe growth and development of the business and hence it will leads to the achievement of themain objective of the Volkswagan. Different function of organisation that uses the IT system areas follows:FinanceThe financial function of the enterprise is the most crucial department that manages inflow andoutflow of cash within the hospitals. This department determines the appropriate figure of losesand profits that are incurred by the Volkswagan. This generally consists of various functionalitiessuch as Account receivable records, Account payable records, Payroll records, Inventory control
record, General ledgers, etc. In order to manage such financial information in the Volkswaganthere is a major requirement to store the database which consists of various fund management.Such tasks can be managed by using ROS, financial auditors etc. This can be possible byintroducing the IT system in the Volkswagan which can reduce paper work work in managing allthe financial data of the private hospitals. IT system keeps the records of payrolls, inflow andoutflow of the financial resource within the firm (Faddeev, 2016). IT system tools that help inperforming automated functions in HR department are Human resource planning, compensationsand benefits in order to attract various stakeholders in providing funding the private industries.Administration:Administration department are performs the work in managing overall employees datathat provides the particular identity to the individual employees. So in order to manage all thetasks of the workforce Implementation of MIS (Management information system) helps inproviding the functionalities that help in keeping the overall records of the staff members in theVolkswagan. This IT system enables the efficient management of large bulk of database in anorganisation.Human resource functionApplication of updated IT system tools can also supports the human resource function bymanaging the work of the workforce and according to the individual performance of theemployees rewards and recognitions are provided that help in motivating the staff members andthis will increase the productivity of the Volkswagan. IT system helps in tracking the activities ofworkers who works within the privater hospital and therefore it detects their exact productivitywhich they are directly delivering to the consumers. It can be performed using HRIS (Humanresource information system) software in the Volkswagan. In order to use the updatedtechnological equipment employees are also needed to provide trainings and developmentcampaigns that help staff members in understanding the concept of properly implementing theIT system in the Hospitals (Fang, Xia, and Jiang, 2015). Such trainings are also provided by HRdepartment for developing the skills among the workers.1.2 Contribution of IT system towards the achievement of organisational objectivesIntroduction of IT system within the organisation that facilitates various automatedtechniques in the business.
