Understanding the rationale for planning in the travel and tourism1.1 Ways in which stakeholders can benefit from the planning of tourism developmentStakeholders could be defined as agencies such as tourists, private businesses, government andlocal residents that aim at increasing revenues through promotion of tourist, industry. Thestakeholders such as government enjoy tax benefits whereas, private organisaions profits fromthe employment under tourism industry. As suggested by Budeanu et al. (2016, p.293), tourism can deliver short and long-term economicdevelopment for the tourist destination selected by the country. It is evident that careful andproper maintained consideration helps in the betterment of the destination for the tourist spot inthe country. Advantages and disadvantages go hand in hand with the development process likethe planning process for the developing of the tourist destination in countries. The decision forthe betterment of the country and the betterment of the tourist spot can lead to both positive andnegative effects. However, as argued by McComb et al. (2016, p.146), implementation andmanagement do not only contribute to the development of the tourist destination. Betterplacement of the tourist destination also depends upon the sustainable development andmaintaining of the benefits to the customers of the society. The implementation of the proper planning process in the tourism industry helps the stakeholdersin gaining proper recognition and faith. It isevidently seen that the advantages and the disadvantages of the current development in theIndustries of tourism have marked are greater parity.
