Cloud computing has turned into a common place around the technology industry. Business
has been moving from local servers and starting to depend highly on cloud. The main advantage of
this innovation has been to make more efficient and effective flow of work. However, like other
technologies, it has not been devoid of various drawbacks (Calero and Aguado 2015).
The cloud computing has been useful for organizations to real high benefits out of that.
Hence some time is needed to be taken the businesses and then understand the different benefits and
drawbacks that are carried by cloud computing. They should make the most out of their technology
of business irrespective of the cloud service provider chosen.
The following study demonstrates the project scopes and objectives and conducts a literature
review on the various advantages and disadvantages of cloud computing. Then the research
questions are discussed along with research methodology and design. Lastly a research plan is
designed denoting the overall time schedule.

The cloud computing has been referring to every Internet-based services, development and
applications. It has been defined by IBM as the “cloud-as-a-service” over Internet. It has been
allowing storage of high volume of data and the possibility to lose the same. It has been referred to
as the pool of various technology resources for delivering centralized data storing along with
accessing services over Internet. Further, cloud computing has been an important element of
information technology making life of people easier and very simple. Various key properties of
cloud computing has been the on-demand access, higher security, measured flexibility and service
and scalability. It has been quickly emerging standard business. Enterprises have been gaining
advantages for it in many ways. Here different aspects are considered while making decision to use
