This assignment analyzes a detailed itinerary for a 6-day Iceland adventure tour package. It delves into the tour's inclusions, exclusions, visa requirements, meals, insurance coverage, and target audience (young adventurers). INTRODUCTION
In the recent time, most of the travellers seek for amazing and excited experiences.
Adventure Travel Trade Association states that adventure tourism is type of bustle that is related
with exchange of cultural values and nature or some kind of physical activities. Present study is
based on Iceland country. Tourism contributes well in economic development of Iceland. Current
assignment will design a 5- day adventure inclusive tour. Furthermore, it will be explain various
adventure niches.
TASK
Iceland is the attractive place that has total area of 103000 Square kilometres. Laws and
legislation of this country is very simple and flexible. Country offers temporary resident visas to
the individual those who want to stay in the nation for more than 6 months. National migration
institute issues visas to visitors (Tu and Su, 2014). Visa of travellers allow people to stay in the
location upto 180 days. Political condition of region is very stable and authorities always
emphases on increasing tourism activities. That is why foreign reserves of country is increasing
and economic condition of region is improving.
Whale watching, blue Lagoon, Spectacular geysers, Northern lights, Glacier Park etc. are
many attractive locations in Iceland that has made it very popular among tourists. Visa norms to
come in Iceland is very simple, if the person has UK passport then individual can travel to the
country (Kumar, 2016). Apart from British citizen other people will require Schengen visa for
entering into Iceland. It is part of European economic area thus, British citizens have right to live
here with resident or work permit.
Adventure niches
Nature/ wildlife tourism
It is also known as green travel. It is the type of travel activity in which individual visits
fragile, natural areas, water etc. Tour operators involve such kind of travel in their packages to
give amazing experience to the visitors (Mura and Tavakoli, 2014). When the person see such
kind of natural things, rivers, waterfall then it gives them new experience and make them
positive towards the location. They make their mind to come to this location again in the future.
Wildlife tourism Is another part of adventure travel in which operators involves wildlife things
into the trip. This is the best kind of adventure and for animal lovers this is like dream comes true
situation.

Heritage tourism
This is another branch of tourism that emphases more on involving cultural or heritage
aspects in trip (Prayag and Lee, 2018). There are many geographical areas that are popular for
their history, heritage and customs. Tour operators involve such kind so things into it in order to
give different travel experience to the adults.
Activity tourism
This is the branch of adventurous tourism that includes variety of activities into holiday
such as climbing, mountaineering, canoeing etc. In the recent time, youngsters like such kind of
travel very much. Thus, many tour operators are offering this trip to them so that they can get
excitement in their life (Batle and Robledo, 2018).
5- Day adventure tour is going to organise in Iceland that is famous for ice. This is such a
nice place that has amazing weather and attractive viewpoints. The five-day trip will include
activity and Nature/ wildlife tourism. Whale watching, mountaineering, climbing, sight seen will
be included in this inclusive tour.
The features of adventure tour for Iceland would be:-
Scenic Beauty Of Golden Circle:- After reaching Iceland, the trip will begin right from
the scenic beauty of Golden Circle which is actually a centre of attraction from tourism point of
view. This place can be reached easily by the help of jeep. Here, point to be noticed is, lake
pingvallavatn lies directly over the plates where American and Eurasian Plates are
separated. One more tourist spot to be capture in memories is Blue Lagoon. Here,
environment and climate is completely cool along with a world class natural spa to be
spotted on Lunar alndscape.
Iceland Puffins:- On Latrabjarg, around 14 kilometres long cliff and by rising to
almost 400 meters on the westernmost tip of Iceland a thousands of puffins come
altogether in the month of May. Nearby there only, Arctic Foxes can also be seen.
Puffins spend their maximum time at sea. At time of Spring, they arrive here only with
the motive of nesting and notable thing about Iceland is, its the breeding home for more
than 60 % of world's Atlantic puffins. Every year, between, April - September, these can
be found in Iceland.

Experiencing Active Volcano:- From here, the trip will be diverted towards quite
adventurous scenes. Experience of active and vast Bárðarbunga volcano can be taken.
Those who have fear can take help of a helicopter ride over the spue volcano (Prayag and
Lee, 2018).
In the year 2014, there had been a volcanic eruption with a big volcanic rock crevice.
Hike 'Iceland's Inca Trail':- After having experience of the Active Volcano, lets
move towards Hiking and Trekking. The trekking begins with the adventurous path of
lava field, rainbow mountains, bubbling pools and glacial ice and lastly a desert of black
ashes which is almost a 53 K.M. long path before entering in the green woods which is in
the foot of infamous eyjafjallajökull volcano.
Now, small valleys that are complete with snow bridges and prospect of green plains
which is fully decorated with the beauty of volcano cones and streams.

Bus will pick up travellers at 8.00AM from pick up location. Bus will have free WIFI
facility and all visitors will get password to access this WIFI. Visitors are required to bring warm
water cloths, hiking boots, waterproof jackets, gloves with them (Australian Wonders - IND-AUS

Description of inclusive tour
Day 1: South Coast and Golden Circle
 On first day travellers will be going to incredible natural wonders in Iceland. They will
enjoy attraction points on Golden circle such as Geysir and UNESCO world heritage site
of Thingvellir, Gullfoss.
 Next, on the way people will see Skogafoss waterfalls and Seljalandsfoss.. First entire
day will explore wonders that are around Golden Circle.
 First stoppage will be Thingvellir National park, this is world’s famous heritage site. This
place has significant geological and historical importance. Historical sites of Althingi will
be seen and oldest operational parliament will also been site by visitors. There will stay

 After that, visitors will be travelled to world- renowned Geyser. This is very hot spring

Day 3: East Fjords- Egilsstaoir

Then visitors will take hike to Hengifoss. This is second highest waterfall in Iceland that has
height of 128m. After that travellers will visit unique Litlanesfoss waterfall. Then people will
move to Egilsstaoir in hotel in country.
Day 4: Dettifoss- Akureyri
 Starting visiting location for the fourth day will be Dettifoss. Then bus will move ahead
to north of Iceland. Visitors will reach to Moorudalur that is the highest farm in north
Iceland. Here lunch arrangement will be done. People will stay here for two hours; they
will be relaxed and will enjoy traditional food of Iceland. Visitors can see amazing views
from this restaurant.
 Then travellers will move to lake Myvatn, it is famous for birdlife. Then short journey of
steaming lunar landscapes will be done.

Day 5: Whale watching- Bifrost
 On the last day Akureyri will be explored and then bus will move to Dalvik. This is such
as amazing place for whale watching. Travellers would get opportunities to do fishing as
well. People will be here for two hours then they will reach to hotel at Bifrost.
 Last day would be wildlife adventure niche. Animal lovers will enjoy this place and it
would be dream comes true for them. Akureyri is the capital of North. It is located in
heart of Eyjafjorour and people can enjoy spectacular views from each location.
 After that Dalvik will be visited, it is famous for whales. Here, whale-spotting trip will be
done for three hours. This would be excited; funny activity and people those who like
adventure the most will feel amazed. Such animals will float near visitors, instructor will
guide the person to swim in water easily.

 Then bus will move to Siglufjorour. Here people will be familiar with Iceland’s culture
and traditions. Some agricultural areas will be seen and evening will be spending in
Bifrost.

The travel will be done from England top Iceland through airline. The travel will be done

swimming pool and having amazing sight seen. After finishing the five days all group members
will be dropped to airport (6 Days Around Iceland Adventure, 2018).
Exclusion
Tips to guide, waiter tips will be excluded from the actual cost of this Iceland adventure
tour. Group members can give tip to all these persons as per their suitability and their
convenience. Baggage handling fee will be additional. Furthermore, travellers will have to bear
cost of visa and passport and other additional services apart from the accommodation.
Visa
Single entry via will be issued to visitors for visiting Iceland. This would be tourist visa
and would be valid for this trip only.
Meal
Breakfast, dinner, lunch of all five days will be included in this adventurous travel
