Ageing process in cells and tissues
The ageing is being defined as the continuous and gradual process of changes in the body
of the person naturally. Within the body of person, cells are the blocks of tissues and on that only
the body works. Each and every cell within the body experiences aging and either they become
large or less able to divide and multiply (Covarrubias and et.al., 2020). There are different types
of tissues which might affect the working of the human body like connective tissue, muscle
tissue and others. All these tissues are made up of cell and for effective working it is very
necessary to have healthy cells and tissue need to be properly working.
With the increase in age the cell and tissue of the person are being affected and this can
result in death of the cell as well. This is pertaining to the fact that as the cells grow then at some
point of time it results in death as well of the cell. Within this one concept is Apoptosis which is
also known as the programmed cell death. This is a process which includes regulatory process
which takes place throughout the life of the person. This process includes the elimination of the
damaged cell and takes place at the time of embryonic development (Ermolaeva and et.al.,
2018). This includes reshaping the tissues in the normal development and growth of the person.
This whole process also provides for the mechanism of elimination of cells which are already
worn out or damaged. Once the molecular signal states triggering apoptosis then the catabolic
process which is being initiated within the cell. After this different enzyme try break the cellular
components and the DNA. After the chromatin condenses and after this cell starts shrinking and
bulges within plasma membrane is created.
Along with this another process relating to the aging of cell and tissue is the autophagy.
This is another mechanism with which a cell can die and this is the highly regulated process
which plays a normal role in the development and growth of cell. This process allows the cell to
starve for reallocating the nutrients which are unnecessary as compared to the one which is
essential (Schumacher and et.al., 2021). This process involves the role of removing the
misfolded and the aggregated proteins by way of clearing the damaged organbelles like the
endoplasmic retilulum, mitochondria, intracellular pathogen and many other different cells and
tissues. Also, it was analysed that within this process mitochondrial dysfunction is also assumed

to have contributed within aging of the cell to a great extent. also autophagy result in degrading
the proteins for enabling their replacement and then the new cells are being created.
Along with this general aging process of the cell and tissue involves the development of
waste product build up within the tissue. After this the fatty brown pigment is being created
known as the lipofuscin which is being collected within many different tissues and include other
fatty substances as well. after this the tissues which connect the other becomes very stiff and as a
result of this the organ, blood vessel and airways become more rigid and stiff (Covarrubias and
et.al., 2021). This makes the living of the person and working of cells and tissues more rigid and
can affect the person negatively. Thus with this it can be stated that aging of cell is very
important as it removes the cell which are already being damaged. Hence, as a result of this the
working of human life is better and this makes the working much better and effective.
