Getting Started with Your Problem Statement
There is a problem with the scaling of the collaboration of the Lean and Agile
methodologies in the area of project management.
Despite the use of different kinds of strategies that are used within the Agile and Lean
methodologies, there is a huge form of challenge for maintaining a balance between cost
effective ways and compromising on the quality of products, which is occurring.
This problem has negatively affected the people within the IT based firms within the
supply chain market.
A possible cause of this problem is within the planning of business strategies within the
various firms.
If we don’t solve it would lead to compromising of the quality of products, which will
happen.
Perhaps research that investigates on the blending of lean and agile methodologies
could remedy this situation.

My Problem Statement/ Question
There is a certain problem with the form of collaboration based on Agile and Lean based
methodologies within the area of project management. Despite the use of these kind of
methodologies there is a certain problem based on balancing between the cost effective
ways and maintaining the quality of the project. This problem has mainly affected the IT
firms. A possible cause of the problem is based on the form of planning within the
industries. Perhaps the study would be able to investigate the blending of the lean and
agile methodologies could remedy the situation. In a survey conducted among 4000 IT
based organizations, it has been found that 94% of the respondents have been making
use of agile based practices in various firms (Conforto et al., 2014). These form of
practices help in increasing of management of priority, visibility of the project and
productivity.
Themes I have noted in my Literature Review to support this problem:
Based on the supported reviews of the articles, it has been found that the mixture of
lean and agile methodologies would be useful for resolving the issues.
