 Simplicity is maintained
 Team aim is to deliver effective project

Process involved in Agile
 There are total seven steps, this
includes:
 Scope of the life cycle
 Pre-planning
 Iteration
 Result of iteration
 Support provided at the time of
software release
 Retirement

The life cycle of sprint:
 The steps involved in the life cycle
of sprint are:
 planning
 Developing
 Testing
 Delivering the product
 Assessment

Agile vs. Waterfall
 Different phases are divided in the
waterfall whereas agile separates into
the sprints.
 Agile is more flexible than waterfall
 Changes can be implemented at any
stages in the agile , whereas changes
cant be implemented with the waterfall
model
 Waterfall is sequential process whereas
agile is collaborative development
process.

Advantages
 Faster software is developed
 Faster turnaround time
 Less resources gets wasted
 Issues gets easily detected
 Easily problems can be fixed

Disadvantages
 Speed decreases
 Lacks proper documentation
 Designing is not done in detailed
 Cost estimation becomes difficult

Application of Agile
 Helps in feasibility study: the
development of the power station with
combining underground coal gasification,
syngas treatment and power generation.
 Helps in maintaining the project: these
helps in providing the maintenance for
the buildings, electrical plants and
mechanical plants.
