Agrifresh is the family owned business of citrus grower in Western Australia. The company
possess the facility of cool room and packing that has supported it in altering the citrus
business of country. In consideration to international operations, company can deal with
cross-cultural risk like cultural diversity. Besides this, it can experience barriers in
understanding and learning the foreign country’s language. As per Hofstede cultural
dimensions theory, the society’s culture affects the value of the members. In order to
overcome this, while providing the cultural training company must consider the cultural
values of the foreign country to gain the advantage by entering in international market.
Furthermore, at international level company have to deal with country risk because there are
nations dealing with political unrest. Agrifresh may not capable enough to cope up with
economic shocks, hence to do so; company need to remain updated regarding the foreign
country’s regulations.
