INTRODUCTION
This report have main aim for providing recommendation for the farm in having the
better evidence for the work and have much profits for the business. Furthermore, explain about
the implementing from the machinery and precision farming while using many tools and
different types of farm in which renewable energy techniques can be used. Along with, also
examine about for ensuring the harvesting and production while for having the good quality and
able to make the appropriate storage system.
MAIN BODY
Precision farming technique
Precision farming is a concept which is completely based upon measuring, observing, and
responding inter and intra-field variability in crops (Phupattanasilp and Tong, 2019). There Are
various kinds of precision farming techniques that can help in increasing productivity,
maximizing profitability, as well as helps in maintaining high standards and quality that can
successfully help in migrating climate change. Some of the most common precision framing
techniques are as follows:
Precision framing software: It is a new IoT farm management software that can help in remotely
(Phupattanasilp and Tong, 2019) managing equipment and controlling them in an effective
manner. this software can directly help in controlling various kinds of farming equipment’s
simultaneously with the help of IoT. Usage of this software can help in increasing profitability as
well as can help in maintaining high standards and quality.
Location monitoring system: It is a technique that can be used for farming that helps in
estimating amount of water required by soil, crop biomass and many other matrices. It is done on
the basis of data collected from GPS satellite. This data is also used by Corp insurance
companies, government and farmers. Usage of this technique can help in saving water and
maintaining overall quality of soil.
Remote sensors: These are satellite sensors that helps in indicating variation in field colour
according to change in soil type, crop development, roads, field boundaries, water etc. using
these sensors farmers can monitor health of livestock of their crops in real time so that overall

quality of crop is maintained and high profitability can be generates (Phupattanasilp and Tong,
2019).
From the case study it has been found that they use farm renewable energy generation
techniques for enhancement of their overall profitability and for maintaining high quality of
crops and soil by using water in adequate amount.
Building use
In order to enhance productivity and maintain high standards, quality of soil and crop by
using minimum water required it is important to use building in an appropriate and efficient
manner such that usage land is done in effective manner (Shruthi, Hiremath and Joshi, 2018).
Appropriate building usage helps in management of machinery, crops, brans etc. for example
building usage of Knot-Reel Farm, Fornham St Martin have been explained in detailed. They
have a farmhouse, potato storage whose capacity is of 8000 tonnes, Grain storage with 3 x 800
tonne drying floors and 2 x 50 tonne bins with varying age, but all good condition, root storage
whose overall capacity is 3000 tonnes, Machinery store, Cattle shed, Pesticide store that has been
adapted from outhouse, Open slurry lagoon which is 20 years old with dimensions of 18m long x
10m wide x 3m deep. This has helped farm in managing usage of the land in an adequate manner
that has further enhanced their overall productivity.
Waste
Waste- here, from case study it can be found that there is a lot of waste which is being
generate by Knot Reel Farm. Moreover, the new farm bill focus on reducing waste and taking
care of environment. Thus, it is necessary for Knot Reel Farm to ensure that they reduce waste so
that environment is taken care of. So, for that they can follow various waste management
practices. The farm can use method of composting. It is a process by which organic wastes are
broken down by microorganisms, generally bacteria and fungi, into simpler forms. The
microorganisms use the carbon in the waste as an energy source (Xing, and Chai, 2018). The
degradation of the nitrogen- containing materials results in the breakdown of the original
materials into a much more uniform product which can be used as a soil amendment. Heat
generated during the process kills many unwanted organisms such as weed seeds and pathogens.
Advantages of composting include reduction of waste volume, elimination of heat-killed pests,
and the generation of a beneficial and marketable material. Adding compost to soil increases
