Executive Summary
The objective of this report is to understand the artificial intelligence and the applications of
artificial intelligence for Mega World Ltd. There is a strong impact of artificial intelligence
on the users as it is responsible for providing various distinct advantages. All of the human
intelligence procedures subsequently involve learning, self correction and reasoning. The
learning is the acquisition of rules and information to use that information and this reasoning
is by utilizing those rules for reaching to the definite or approximate conclusions. This
artificial intelligence could be easily categorized within a number of methods. The systems of
AI could be eventually classified as the strong artificial intelligence system and weak
artificial intelligence system. The machine learning is the major part of this artificial
intelligence. The five applications of artificial intelligence are experts systems, intelligent
robots, machine vision system, speech recognition system, optical character recognition
system. There is a major capacity of human senses present within the intelligent robots and
this capacity is being reproduced by the human experts. The expert systems are extremely

1. Introduction
Artificial intelligence or machine intelligence is the type of intelligence that is
depicted by various machines and is different from the natural intelligence that is usually
being displayed by the human beings or animals (Russell & Norvig, 2016, p. 2). The
significant research of the artificial intelligence is the specific study of various intelligent
agents. The device that is responsible for perceiving the environment and taking relevant
actions for maximizing the chance of properly achieving the various goals and objectives.
Often a machine mimics the cognitive functions, which the human beings are associating
with all other human beings like problem solving or learning (Raza & Khosravi, 2015, p.
1371). The scope of the artificial intelligence is that since the machines have become
extremely capable of solving problems, there could be a removal of human intelligence from
the technological world (Michalski, Carbonell & Mitchell, 2013, p. 4). The capability of the
modern machine for the artificial intelligence mainly includes the successful understanding of
human speech and also competing at the high level within the strategic game system.
This report explains the importance of artificial intelligence and its applications on
Mega World Ltd. These applications of artificial intelligence are responsible to provide better
efficiency and effectiveness to the business processes of any specific organization. Innovation
is highly enhanced with the applications. Since, Mega World Ltd is a logistics company and
they have thought of including artificial intelligence applications in their business, this report
will be demonstrating three recommended applications with proper details.

Mega World Ltd is the largest company of logistics in Australia and it was established
around twenty years earlier. More than 200 employees are working in this organization and
their specific head office is in Sydney, Australia. This particular organization is eventually
working in various states in Australia and in also other parts in the Oceania region. The
company of Mega World Ltd provides various end to end logistics solutions to the client
companies. They provide services to the industries of mining, manufacturing and
warehousing. Some of these client companies have decided to provide the logistics solutions
on the basis of artificial intelligence. Thus, Mega World Ltd has also thought of expanding
