INTRODUCTION

research topic. Literature review is an overview of the previous published data in respect of the
aim and objectives of the present study that direct scholar to collect reliable and appropriate data.
In this section, the scholar will present the secondary information regarding impact of artificial
intelligence implementation on digital transformation of hospitality sector.
As per the opinion of Oeij and et.al. (2019) workplace transformation is a method or ways
through which organization can improve workforce skills, tools with the aim to implement
constant changes within company strategy. It is significant for encouraging and motivating the
employees so that they can increase both productivity and morale. With the help of workplace
transformation, the management of hospitality sector is able to form or build better
communication and collaboration among the employees. However, on the other hand Busulwa,
Pickering and Mao (2022) has argued in the digital era, the workplace transformation increases
cost as the company need to implement and update new digital technologies.
According to the view of Trenerry and et.al. (2021) artificial intelligence is one of the key
digital technology that transform the workplace environment in positive way. The impact of
artificial intelligence on hospitality sector is that the organizations able to process its work such
as customer order, billing and payment in less time. In simple term, with the help of new
techniques of artificial intelligence, the company able to solve new problem arises with
introduction of technology. This handle business information more properly as compared to
humans. For example, Premier Inn during the Covid-19 situation has adopt the cloud based
technologies to arrange meetings, employees training etc. along with the management of work
from home policy.
In contrast to above statement, Selimović, Pilav-Velić and Krndžija (2021) has stated that
implementation of artificial intelligence creates major issue or challenge for the organizations
operate under hospitality industry. The challenge that company might face because of AI
implementation is automation-spurred job loss, data scarcity, limited implementation, lack of
transparency, bias etc. The impact of which company lose its reputation and brand image in the

market. For example, Costa coffee café of UK has recently adopted Customer relationship
management (CRM) to manage the relationship with its customer after the pandemic
breakthrough. This digital transformation helps the café to enhance its customer service, base
and sales.
As state by Alt (2021) the impact of artificial intelligence over the company is that it helps
hotels, pubs, restaurants, bars etc. to explore new market or start its operation all over the world.
It is because the company able to process its order fast which leads to increase in customer base,
sales as well as profitability.
Conclusion
After summing up the above information, it has been concluded that the impact of artificial
intelligence implementation in organizations operates under hospitality sector helps the company
to expand its business. It has been also concluded that the companies may face challenge such as
job loss, privacy violation etc. while implementing artificial intelligence.
CHAPTER 2- RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
Research process/ type: The research process is the steps which scholar should follow
while conducting a research effectively. There are two types of research such as qualitative and
quantitative. Qualitative research is collection and analysis of theoretical concept and
information to achieve research study (Mohajan, 2018). While on the other hand, Quantitative
research is collection and analysis of numerical and factual information regarding study. In the
present study, the scholar has been selected qualitative research. The scholar will set the aim and
objective first and then conduct both primary and secondary research to complete the study
appropriately and achieve aim & objectives successfully.
Research approach: This means the plans and procedure used to conduct a research.
There are two types of research approach such as inductive and deductive. The inductive
approach involves the formation of aim and objectives first and then completing the study on that
direction. While on the other hand, deductive approach means the formation of hypothesis and
check whether hypothesis is correct or not with appropriate tools. In the present study, the

scholar has been selected inductive approach because it perfectly suits with the qualitative
research.
Research strategy: There are two types of research strategy such as interpretivism and
positivism. The interprevitism research strategy has been selected by the scholar for the present
study because it involves human interest. Also, the interpretivism strategy is best suitable for
with qualitative research hence selected by the researcher in the present study.
Data collection: There are two methods or sources of collecting data such as primary and
secondary data. In the present study, the scholar has collected data from both primary as well as
secondary sources. In primary sources, the data has been collected by scholar from employees of
The Grey Horse organization through survey method via mean of questionnaire (Pandey and
Pandey, 2021). While in secondary sources, the data has been collected through books, journals,
articles, website etc.
Sampling: Sampling is the method of selecting the sample size out of population. There
are two types of sampling method such as random and non-random sampling. In the present
study, scholar has been selected random sampling to select 30 employees of The Grey Horse
company of UK to assess the impact of implementation of artificial intelligence as a digital
transformation practice over organization process & performance.
Data Analysis: This is a systematic process which involve the application of different
methods and techniques. The two way to analyse the data is thematic and SPSS software. In the
present study, the scholar has been selected the thematic analysis method to analyse the primary
information of the company. Themes has been framed for presenting and interpretation the
outcome of the result (Pandey and Pandey, 2021).
Ethical consideration: The ethical aspects of the information is important for the scholar to
consider while conducting research. In the present study, scholar has framed ask each
participants to fill consent form. The data is collected from authentic source. Proper referencing
and citation has been done (Mishra and Alok, 2022).

Conclusion:
From the evaluation of the information it can be mentioned that having effectual project
management is crucial in turn attaining the objectives of having successful completion of the
project can become possible. The current study has given emphasis on having execution of
project management plan, primary research via survey conducting which has helped n gaining
depth information. In addition to this, secondary data, WBS, gantt chart, etc has been involved in
current study that can help in attaining reliable workplace transformation.

 It is also recommended to the organization that they should create a change leadership
team at the workplace to keep close eye towards the issue that employees are facing due

solution helps the company to deal with the challenge and implement AI properly at

Yes, my work helps me a lot in achieving my aims. I have gain various information about the innovative
digital workspaces that help the company in improve employee as well as own performance. My project is
successfully completed on time and the quality of my project was so good that I have got highest marks in
it. Through my marks, I have got to know that my project is successful and I have successfully achieved
my aim. Further, with the help of personal reflection and logbook completion, I have evaluated that my

What aspects of your development process do you think worked well and why? Evaluate
all aspects of the project (e.g. initial research, concept development, development
process, presentation, etc.) from a range of perspectives.
The aspects of the development process worked well as per my opinion is concept development, timeline
and Gantt chart, findings presentation etc. Beside of issues I have faced in creating Gantt chart, I am able
to complete it properly because of my quick learning skills. I have also conduct the secondary research in
successful manner. However, because of my poor writing skills, I face difficulty in presenting the outcome
in tabular manner (Mohajan, 2018).
What problems emerged during the project and how were they tackled? Was there
timely identification of issues and resolution during the project process?
I have faced issue such as poor communication and writing skill during the project the result of which I am
faced issue in communicating with the respondent and presenting the outcome in readable and
understandable manner. Because of my weakness, I am also unable to manage each task of the project as
per the time line prepared by me. The delay in project is also an issue which I have faced during this
project. In order to tackle with this issue, I have taken help of my friends, practice communication daily
and taken guidance from my tutor. This steps have helped me a lot in solving this issue easily and quickly.
What did you learn from undertaking the project?
I have learned different stages of project management cycle through this project which help me in
completing this project in successful manner. I have also learned MS project software to create Gantt chart.
I have also developed communication skills in myself.
What are the strengths and weaknesses of your process that you have identified?
The strength of my process is critical thinking, quick learning, proper researching that help me in
successfully completing this project (Selimović, Pilav-Velić and Krndžija, 2021). While on the other hand,

What problems you have encountered, and what steps taken to address them?
In the week 1 and week 2, I have faced difficulty in framing the timeline and creating
Gantt chart of the research project. I have lack knowledge about the same the impact
of which I unable to manage my project timely. The step I have taken to address the
issue is that I have taken help of my friend. He helped me to create Gantt chart and
timeline using MS Project Software.

What problems you have encountered, and what steps taken to address them?
In the middle of the project, the problem I have encountered is that I am unable to
communicate with the respondent for conducting survey successful. The lack of
communication has major issue for me. The step I have taken to address this problem
is that I have daily practice in mirror to confidently communicate with the respondent.
This has helped me a lot in successful completing my primary research.

What problems you have encountered, and what steps taken to address them?
In the end of the project, I have faced difficulty in presenting my outcome and
recommending strategic action to company to deal with the challenges. It is because
of lack of problem solving skills. To address this problem, I have read different books,
articles to identify which solution is best for company to deal with the AI
implementation.
