Literature Review
AI Summary
This literature review delves into vascular dementia, a brain disorder characterized by cognitive impairment. It highlights the role of AIM2 inflammasome and chronic cerebral hypoperfusion in its pathophysiology, referencing studies using mouse models to understand the underlying mechanisms. The review emphasizes the significance of understanding AIM2 inflammasome activation in chronic cerebral hypoperfusion-induced brain injury, suggesting potential therapeutic targets for mitigating cognitive impairment in vascular dementia. References to key research articles are included, providing a foundation for further exploration of this complex condition.

BACKGROUND AND SIGNIFICANCE
Dementia is defined as the set of disease which is associated with the brain disorder. in
addition, the there are various model and experimental is held in order to know the complication
and uprising factor which play positive aspect for the human pathophysiology. As per this, AIM2
inflammasome mediate which have a hallmark which is neuropathological alteration and their
cognitive impairment that is related with the mouse model with aspect of vascular dementia. In
addition to this, it is analysing that the chronic cerebral hypo fusion is usually associated with the
vascular dementia. Moreover, the cerebral hypo fusion help to regulate the complex molecular
and cellular inflammation with their definite pathway that usually produce their contribution in
long term impairment and loss of memory (Arnaoutoglou and et. al., 2017). This all aspect is
probably associated with the condition of brain factor in which the memory become weak and
the factor are establishing in such a way which can create loss for the many of population. In
this, the use of bilateral common carotid artery stenosis mouse model which is helpful for the
study of vascular dementia in order to know the arising factor and effect on the innate immune
response which is based on the particular inflammasome signalling pathway. In this, the
evaluation is taken on the comprehensive study which help to provide the information which is
related with the chronic cerebral component and their product which is on downstream level such
as IL-1beta and IL-18 which is situated in the different brain areas and they usually promote the
activation of apoptotic and pyroptotic cell death as a pathway. Moreover, the condition of
polarized glial cell activation, white matter lesion formation and usually associated with
hippocampal neuronal loss that is happen in the mode of spatiotemporal which have manner
(Choi and et. al., 2019). Moreover, in AIM2 knockout mouse in which the evaluation and study
is undertaken and analyse that the attenuated inflammasome mediated production of the
proinflammatory cytokinesis, apoptosis and pyrotosis in this, it is also associated with the
prolong change in the behaviour of vascular dementia and they are resistance to the chronic
microglial activation and with the myelin breakdown, hippocampal neuronal loss and there are
some of aspect such as behavioural and cognitive deficiency which is usually follow the bilateral
common carotid artery stenosis (Kalaria and et. al., 2018).
As per this, the significance which is analyse with the study is to understand activation of
AIM2 inflammasome which is particularly contribute in the pathophysiology of chronic cerebral

with attenuating cognitive impairment in the vascular dementia (Sun and et. al., 2018).
